A well located property for all the local attractions but next to a very noisy road.

The property was very close to a busy and noisy road with lots of lorries tumbling by, this was not shown in the description. Also the fence was not very secure therefore not suitable for my dog to be let out.

Peaceful little hideaway close to Woodbridge.

Tranquil, peaceful and cosy. Well equipped and spacious. It had everything we needed for a winter weekend.

Couldn’t see the sign very well from the roadside so missed the turning first time.

Cosy, comfortable, happy

It was a perfect place to stay for Dad, my husband and me. We were really interested in visiting Sutton Hoo and Woodbridge. Couldn't believe Sutton Hoo was practically on the doorstep so we could walk there! The property was warm and comfortable and cosy, in a beautiful setting. It was lovely to have the fire, and there were fresh eggs and milk for us in the kitchen. The pub recommendation was fabulous (menu was left in the living room), as we could walk there too and the food and staff were lovely. It was such a handy, pleasant place to stay.

The only (tiny) thing was, we couldn't work out how to get the water to come out of the shower! Tried and tried - were we being thick? No idea! Anyway, as we weren't staying that long we didn't mind and so didn't phone for help and had baths instead. Other than that, everything was great.

great location for a weekend break

Great location close to Sutton Hoo. Good comfortable accommodation with all the facilities for a weekend break

Access is difficult as it is in the grounds of the owners house with only a narrow track to the entrance

the location was great for Sutton Hoo and also surrounding beaches also very handy for Woodbridge golf course which was within a couple of minutes walk

Poor

I want to start by saying in 30 years this is the first bad review I have ever had to write. This cottage was dirty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. The beds were so old and thin that when you sat on them you were basicly sleeping on the slats. The furniture was covered in stains and the bedsheets looked like they needed replacing 2 years ago. This property is listed to accommodate up to 6 people, however, after 3 out of five of us had showers (no longer than 5 minutes each) there was no hot water left leaving the remaining 2 to have cold showers. For the price, I am disgusted and will be making a formal complaint and be looking for financial compensation as for the state of the accommodation it should have been half the price. Luckily we arrived late and the next day we were attending a wedding, so we were able to spend as little time as possible in the cottage.
