My stay in Hotel Krone was an absolute delight.

What a magnificent stay. The welcome was outstanding with detailed information both about the hotel and the town. I was shown how the key fob worked to gain entry to the building and was taken in person to my room. It was explained to me what I had to make a point of seeing in the town and what the options were for dinner in the evening. It was also explained to me that the breakfast would be "meat-free" - and what a breakfast it was. "Superb" does not come close. The range of items freshly prepared for each individual guest was amazing and there were other items beyond the individually prepared ones. Parking in Königswinter is quickest with the EasyPark app but the availability of a parking permit from the hotel made parking so much easier and took away the need to call up the app in the morning to book more time.

There was nothing at all that could have been better.

The building is in great condition; the only issue is that there is no elevator, which was a bit of a problem for us since we were with my 83-year-old mother

Lovely hotel in a great location

Great location for both Königswinter and easily visiting Bonn city by tram. The room was lovely and comfortable, the ensuite bathroom, modern and fresh. The staff did a great job of keeping our room cool for our arrival on one of their hottest ever days, as there's no air-con. The breakfast was an event! It was almost entirely plant-based (cheese and eggs available too) and dished up like an Afternoon Tea. Deliciously different - we loved it!

We can't fault this hotel. We would mention that the breakfast won't meet 'Traditionalist' expectations, but we very much enjoyed ours.

Excellent.

Very near the River Rhine. Walk down to the river. Many bars and restaurants alongside the river. Very picturesque. Hotel: staff very friendly and spoke excellent English. Given free breakfast as it was my birthday. Breakfast very sumptuous with local specialities. Our heavy suitcases were carried to and from our room for us.

We could not have chosen a friendlier place to stay.

The central location was perfect for our visit -not far from the river, the Drachenfels railway and museum. Breakfast was served at table and was beautifully presented. It contained a variety of tasty dishes including plant based products.

A lovely hotel in the middle of town

This is a small hotel right in the middle of town, with easy access to all of the shops and restaurants. The staff are super friendly and helpful. If you wish to visit the castle, there is a train just 5 mins walk away, or you can walk. We walked and it was a pleasant 1 1/2 hours through the forest right to the top view point.

This is a relaxing starting point for hikes along the Rhine, and just 20 minutes by tram from Bonn

We enjoyed the ample and rich vegan breakfast in the lovely morning room. The food was fresh and imaginative, each dish was made with the seal of the approval of the hotel's affable owner.

We wish we could have stayed longer.

I have been to many hotels (hotel chains as well as boutique hotels like "Das Hotel Krone"). But I have never been welcomed and treated as humanly and warmly as here, but you are also left to roe if you like to retreat. The staff is hands-on and very friendly and professional. The food is delicious and vegan and healthy. The cleanliness was fabulous. Highly recommended if you want to visit a more special hotel and don't always like the chain hotels.

Like i am traveling a lot by work, have possibility to compare many hotels, this one was very nice. Welcoming, very kindly and friendly attitude with clients. Perfect location in centre of the city.
