    We stayed 5 nights, but didn’t need to leave the hotel much. Beautiful beach with nice sunbeds, a bar, a beach massage, and a big enough swimming pool in the back. During the hot midday, relax in a spacious hotel room was more than enough for us. And very thoughtful professional teams were there.

    The pool villa was absolutely stunning, and the overall property is undeniably beautiful. That said, the lawn area between the main pool and the beach looked a bit neglected and could use better upkeep. Unfortunately, the service - which the resort is known for - was a major disappointment and significantly affected our experience. Check-in set the tone: we arrived at 2pm, were told that the checkin is at 3pm, and were simply dropped at the pool area with no follow-up. Even after 3pm, no one came to escort us, and we had to repeatedly chase staff, only to be told the room had been ready “a minute ago,” without any apology or proper introduction to the resort. Service throughout the stay was inconsistent and often inattentive. At the pool restaurant, staff barely acknowledged us. Requests were frequently overlooked - from unanswered calls to reception, to having to repeat simple requests multiple times due to language barrier. When an extra bed fee was enforced for our 12y old, staff were quick to collect payment but failed to provide basic amenities like towels or water for the third guest. There was also a general lack of coordination and initiative: no staff available at the beach for activities, unclear communication about bookings, and little willingness to assist with simple arrangements like ferry transfers. Having lived in Thailand for years and experienced a wide range of hotels, this was by far one of the poorest service experiences we’ve encountered - a real shame given the beauty of the property.

    This resort is a wannabe 5 star resort. What I mean by that is, the room was great, the staff was great, but the service at the restaurant could have been much better and etc. The beach restaurant was very slow service. Waited an hour for my meal last night and when it arrived, it was attacked by ants 🤢 disgusting! I know it’s an island, but I have never experienced this at other high end resorts. The breakfast was decent-lots of pork options and I don’t eat pork. So, will I book again-nope. It would be worth it for half the cost that I paid for it.
