A hidden gem that makes you feel like you’re in paradise. Away from the hustle and bustle, the finest beach I’ve ever seen in Sri Lanka, two wonderful swimming pools and the best Ayurvedic treatments. Perfect breakfast!

A beautiful private beach. A large room. Buffet breakfast. A ping-pong table. Friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant has a good menu and very good pizza.
The Wi-Fi was poor and could not be used in the room. The pool has salty water, and it was too warm. There are no blankets, only a sheet for sleeping. The windows and doors are not soundproof. In the mornings, noisy animals and staff are working outside from around 7 a.m., which can be disturbing. You often have to ask the staff several times for something before it gets done.

Location very good, away from the crowds but not too far from the town. Staff super friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Beautiful beach next to the property.
We booked a Chalet with Sea View, and the photos are a little misleading. In reality not all chalets are as remote as the photos show and not all of them feature a secluded terrace. Some chalets (including the one we got) are next to the walkway, with sunbeds and bedroom windows facing the walkway directly, so there's not much privacy.
Also, given the chalet's interior standard and comfort, I think it's overpriced. Should be renovated to match the price we paid.

Great location, excellent beach and views, spacious rooms. We were upgraded on arrival, without requesting.
We would not recommend this hotel for cyclists. We emailed the hotel ahead of our stay and asked for our bikes to be put under cover at night. We received no reply and on arrival nowhere was provided.
The restaurant was pleasant to sit in but the Sri Lankan food we had was the least nice we have had in our entire 3 week holiday - the food was warm, not hot and very very mildly spiced. The menu was more international focussed and not very exciting.
The WiFi in our room was poor/non-existent at times.
The hotel admirably uses solar power for hot water but this meant even on a reasonably sunny day we had a warm at best evening shower and cold morning one.
