Dantica Cloud Forest Lodge

Super pet friendly and the staff was nice, really recommend it for pet owners who want to take a short trip with their dogs.

Lack of proper hotel supplies. Only two bath towels and tiny ones and note on the water supply for both hot water and water to shower being very limited really kept us concerned.

Location and the cabin close to the reception. Also the birds an other animals around the property. The staff was user friendly.

I liked most of it. but i didn’t like the restaurant at all on one night.

Located high over looking a valley. Food was good and delicious.

The food at Dantica Cloud Forest was great no complaints at all. The lodge we stayed in was old and outdated for me personally. Yes it had a heater if you were cold and air conditioning if you were hot. You had free water one small bottle per day but had to pay for coffee or hot chocolate which I find bizarre. Yes there was alcohol in a mini bar fridge but chargeable which I do understand. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep, you are in the middle of know where with a fantastic view but thats it really. We do recommend going to Miriams Cafe just up the road, we saw more birds at the back of her cafe than we have at Dantica.

Mould on curtains mould on walls which puts you off because you really don't know how clean it is really. The bathroom is painted in black which i presume is to cover up the mould and the lighting in the bathroom is awful. The water for the shower kept going hot one moment and cold the next and the bathrooms are very cold anyway so puts you off having a shower.
