Silom Forest Exclusive Residence

The location in Silom is fantastic. You’re just steps away from the main road and all the action, but tucked away enough that the room stays genuinely quiet at night. The staff were also wonderful—always warm, welcoming, and happy to help with anything.

The bathroom needs urgent attention: there was visible mold, and the showerhead was heavily clogged with limescale, leaving the water pressure very weak. The cooling was another major issue. The common areas and the elevator were uncomfortably hot, and the setup in the room didn’t help, there is a shelf mounted directly beneath the air conditioner that physically blocks the airflow from reaching you. To make matters worse, the swing function on the unit didn't work, so it was almost impossible to direct any cool air toward the bed.

I ended up going for a room upgrade (room 803 - highest floor, huge room) - it's oriented in a quiet direction, offers a beautiful view and is comfortably spacious.

Some rooms can be noisy due to tuk tuks and bike riders.

The location is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the room itself is nice

First, and most importantly, there is a serious electrical safety issue. We plugged a standard phone charger into the wall sockets and received electric shocks. This happened with every socket in the room. We never experienced anything like this in any other hotel during our stay in Thailand. On top of that, we asked for an extra blanket for just one night and were told it would cost 800 baht (!). When we expressed our disbelief, the price suddenly dropped to 400 baht. The whole situation felt like we were being taken advantage of. Despite the great location and friendly staff, we left with a very unpleasant feeling. We definitely won't be coming back.
