Kalyves Bay

We really enjoyed our stay here. Sophia and the staff were friendly and attentive. The apartment was cleaned every day and the towels and sheets were changed twice during our 7 night stay. We were in apartment 12 which was situated on the far left at the end on the second floor. The apartment had 2 balconies one off the bedroom to the front and one to the side off the living area. We did have a lovely view of the sea albeit slightly obscured by the Christie Apartments opposite. The location was a little bit too far to walk to the other side of Kalyves (due to health conditions), for example from Il Forno Restaurant it could take 20 minutes on a brisk walk but for us it was at least 30 minutes. We did hire a car after the first day and returned it the day before we left from Kalyves Car Rental. The car rental was quite expensive due to not being able to pre book and only booking the holiday on the Tuesday and flying out early Friday morning. The apartment was reasonably priced due to the late booking.

There was really anything we did like. The only small issues were that we booked we did request a twin room but were allocated a double which was a bit small for the two of us. Also when the bedding was changed both times we were given single sheets instead of doubles which I had to request for them to be changed each time. The space in the living area is a bit tight between the sofa bed and the kitchen unit.
