convenient enough and clean

warm clean and sufficient for my quick stay. In comparison to the previous night- The directions to access the property were clear specific and explicit. EASY. Close to the bus to get me out of town.

Great stay in the heart of Malaga”

Great accommodation! The apartment is clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location is fantastic – right next to Marques de la Merced square, in the center of Malaga, with easy access to cafes and restaurants. The hosts are friendly and quick to respond. Highly recommended!

The only minor thing is that there can be some street noise at night, but it wasn’t a big problem for me.

Cozy, warm and great location.

The entrance and check in was very smooth and especially the receptionist. She was the kindest and mist welcoming receptionist i have ever met and adds so much value to the place. It was warm comfortable and really good location.

Great location. Basic small apartment. Good base.

The location was great very near the town and the port. If necessary taxis and bus nearby. The fans were good too. A little noisy but adjustable speed and gave enough air on a lower speed so quieter. Good compact apartment with kitchenette and sofa and large bed.

The pillows were quite hard. The water went off when I had shampoo is my hair and shower gel on so had a bit of a nightmare trying to get insect from the trickle. It did come back on after a while.

Great place to stay on edge of historic centre

Really easy check-in with clear instructions for arrival after reception hours. Great location just off Plaze de la Merced on the edge of the historic centre so easily walkable to the centre but quiet accommodation. Clean, compact room perfectly suitable for my stay. Really helpful staff with the option to leave baggage at reception after check-out which was an added bonus, thanks!

Good location just off Plaza de la Merced

My bedroom had a connecting door to the public rooftop terrace, the night I stayed there was a Karaoke night on the terrace. It was very loud!

Good reception, nice, clean, quiet, comfortable room in a great location (in the city centre). Few metres from de Plaza la Merced which is cosy (bars and restaurants) and beautiful. Taxis available at the Plaza la Merced. 10-15 minutes walking distance to the beach.

Lovely stay in Malaga

I liked that the apartment was right in the centre of Málaga. The bed was very comfortable. Well supplied with cooking facilities if you wanted to cook a meal. Felt secure as needed a key to go up in the lift or up the stairs. Very helpful being able to leave my rucksack on my last day to pick up later. I wish I had dropped it off when I arrived. I would book an apartment at this property again.

I didn't use the main shower as felt the outlets needed a good clean but there was a handheld showerhead which was perfectly adequate.

SImple but clean and affordable apartment with all you might need for a short stay in Makaga center

Thank you for everything. You were very helpful, and I am especially thankful for holding my luggage after check-out, as I had the entire day till my train ride at 8 pm. The location is excellent, even in the centre, and people tend to be very loud outside. The balcony door was splendidly isolated, I would say.

Great location, simple, could be cleaner

Location is the star here—right in the heart of Málaga’s old town, with everything just minutes away on foot: major tourist sites, endless cafés and restaurants, and even a supermarket directly across the street. The apartment is well-organized, with a lift, fully equipped kitchen, and a decent bathroom. The bed and pillows were genuinely comfortable, and the small Juliette balcony added a nice touch.

That said, hygiene was a letdown. The place reeked of bleach when I arrived—so much so that I had to air it out for a while just to tolerate staying in the room. But despite the smell, it wasn’t actually clean. The wardrobe had stray hairs, lots of dust, and bits of trash in the drawers. The shower was coated in limescale, and kitchen utensils looked like they hadn’t been properly washed. I’ve seen others mention noise, but that might depend on the room. Mine (212) was quiet after 9 PM—no loud music or voices. Bottom line: If being right in the center at a good price is your top priority and you’re not too squeamish about cleanliness, this place delivers solid value. Just don’t expect spotless.

absolutely unsuitable for rental

The location was excellent, right in the center within walking distance of the Picasso house. Check-in information was prompt and detailed.

The apartment was absolutely unsuitable for accommodation. It does not have standard windows to the exterior, but to some kind of interior shafts. One has absolutely no feeling of distinguishing day and night, it is like in a prison cell. We were not warned about this fact, it is not found anywhere in the description of the apartment. At the same time, the photos when booking the apartment were different from the apartment in reality. The kitchen unit was like a grandmother's, the kitchen equipment was similar, collected from leftovers (various mismatched plates, cups, ...). The bucket with a mop and a broom at the entrance to the bathroom also had a discouraging effect. We arrived in the evening at about 8:30 pm, we called the owner's representative, who claimed that he did not understand English but said that he could not change the room for us because he did not have another room available. I asked for a refund for the accommodation, as we were deceived by the photos on the Booking portal. Personally, I would be ashamed to provide such accommodation to visitors, let alone charge for it. We were very disappointed.

Lovely little apartment equipped with everything you need for a short stay.

It was a furnished little apartment with all facilities, equipped kitchen, air conditioning and everything you need for a stay in the city. It has elevator and a nice terrace at the top with drinks and karaoke.

Great location to enjoy the city by foot, nice vibes on the rooftop.

Great rooftop with view on the city, the rooms have a small kitchenette and are equipped with all the necessary for a pleasurable short stay. Would 100% recommend.

The stairs in the room are quite steep. Not suitable for people with any mobility issues.

Fantastic!!! Great location, close to the shops, bars and beach. The rooms have everything you could need - comfy beds, modern bathrooms and well-equipped kitchenettes. The rooftop has beautiful views and plenty of space to sit. The staff are really kind and helpful. Definitely a great place to stay to enjoy Málaga.

it was good to arrive whilst there was still someone on reception. The bed was comfortable and the location was good.

The living area of the property and the equipment was very worn and in need of a little attention. The shower leaked badly and space was limited. I had not fully appreciated the property was on two levels and to get to bed we had to climb a metal staircase.

The location is good and convenient. The room is generally clean.

The studio is extremely small. Can hardly turn around in the shower. The facilities are quite old and the toilet smells. I was with a child but they only provided one towel. There's also no tea or coffee or any condiments which are usual practice with places like this. It is also quite noisy, both due to people going out in the city centre and people walking around in the hotel.

Microapartment suitable for minimalistic travelers

Apartment is located conveniently in downtown. Bed was very comfortable. It was quiet at night. Check in was easy.

My room was smaller than expected. It seems it was an old apartment that was divided into 5 microapartments with basic amenities. It was okay for one night but, in my opinion, it would have been a little claustrophobic for a longer stay.

Apartmant is in the city center, at a walking distance from all of the main turistic places. Neighborhood is good and safe, and also bar at the rooftop is great. Staff is extremly welcoming and nice. Kitchen is a bit old, but it's functional. Overall, I would definatelly stay in Apartamentos Marques de la Merced again and would recommend it to everyone.

Great location!

The apartment was extremely well located in the old town. It was very easy to find after an easy trip from the airport, via the airport bus 'A' (get off at the last stop and walk for about 7 minutes), The manager,Tarek, was extremely helpful, polite and personable. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchenette had everything I needed. There was very good, free wifi and an air conditioner / heating unit .

My apartment was on the top floor, with access to a shared terrace and bar area. The bar was open until 23:30 and some evenings were a little loud. But they informed me about this before I booked the room. Otherwise, it was a quiet building.
