La Maison du Pont Vieux

Very impressive once inside. High ceilings and interesting artwork. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was served outside under trees next to a garden. Quite charming. The site was close to town via a pedestrian bridge.

Valérie et son mari sont très accueillant, la maison fin 18eme est incroyablement authentique et originalement décorée. Le petit déjeuner est très bien ainsi que l'emplacement.

This is the most unique, special and beautiful b&b i have ever stayed in. It's a little paradise with thousands of Details to explore. The house from the 18th century tells so many stories - and Walter und Valerie have renovated it with so much love and passion, that it's an artwork itself. It is a house for artists, for writers, theatre people, for people who love a special interior, who love to explore. who like nature, Water, the Green, a big garden to get lost in - and who also like to share this home with others. There is a amazing "antique" community Kitchen, also some rooms with a shared bathroom, a library, where you can watch TV. Entering the house is like entering a Film Set or a stage Design. I fell in love with it. And Walter and Valerie are the most welcoming hosts.

There is absolutely nothing i didn't like. But if you want to have a Standard hotel room with TV, 24 hours reception and Mini Bar - you are not going to like it. And if you can't stand old houses with antique furniture which have a grand history, if you are easily overwhelmed by "talking" interiors and a house full of stories - don't come.
