About this villa rental
Villa Pomme d'Amour is situated in the Southern ridge of Marigot Bay. The property is composed of 2 villas, nestled high on the ridge, surrounded by nature and the views of the pool and our tropical gardens, a mountainside brimming with birds. Overlooking the Caribbean ocean.
The apartment in this ad is the lower level of the main house (right side on photos) and is composed of one bedroom with Queen size bed, a bathroom with shower, a kitchen and living room. All 3 rooms open with wide louver doors onto a private 45 foot veranda for your meals and leisure time.
The property has private parking and the villas are down a long staircase, into the valley. It offers use of WiFi and access to a laundry service.
Arrival can either be by taxi (that we can book for you) or by rental car. A rental car is recommended, as there are so many places to discover and great beaches to explore.
On arrival, you will receive a Caribbean Blue Gift Box of essentials.
Grocery stores are near by and you request your taxi to stop on your way to Villa Pomme d'Amour. Since some arrivals are late in the day, for your first morning here, I provide some breakfast items.
As owner, I live on the property and are always available to help you with your planning and discovery of St Lucia.
A 10 minute walk or very short car ride, brings you down in the bay for another beach and water sports, such as kayaking, paddle-boarding, sailing, water taxis and more, also several restaurants and little bars.
St-Lucia is an island of great beauty with its endless rainforest for hiking and great beaches, lovely waterfalls, zip-lines, horseback-riding in the surf, snorkelling and scuba diving, sailing, beautiful waterfalls with basins to swim in, climbing of Gros Piton in the Soufriere (volcano region) , visits to plantations and much more...
Be aware that security cameras are installed for everyone safety: 3 camera in the parking lot area, 1 at the entrance to the rental unit, 1 overlooking pool area, and 3 cameras at host's personal home located on the property.

We really enjoyed our 3 week stay at this VRBO. It's a clean and comfortable apartment with a rustic cabin feel to it. It has lovely views of the surrounding hills and cove. The apartment opens up onto a long balcony that overlooks the pool and is a great place to sit outdoors and have coffee and read in the morning. It feels like you're in a treehouse in the middle of the rainforest. It has a pool which is clean and private, only shared with 2 other apartments. We swam in it at least a couple of times a day.This VRBO is located about a 10 minute walk from the small resort town of Marigot Bay from which you can take a 2 minute ferry ride to a nice beach where you can rent lounge chairs.Most of all, we found our host, Arnold, to be a wonderful person, very happy to provide information about the island and helpful with restaurant suggestions.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Situated amongst lush forest with a bit of a view to the Ocean. The pool area was great and we pretty much had whole area to ourselves. Quite a few stairs up and down , but found this pretty common with most places on the Island. Great location near Marigot Bay and restaurants.
The Host was very informative and helpful setting up excursions , Spas , etc.. The apartment was well furnished and equipped with a small sitting area , full kitchen , full bath , and bedroom. No A/C , but there were lots of Fans and cross ventilation which kept it reasonably comfortable. I enjoyed the balcony with a table and two chairs for coffee or dining.

This quiet hotel is simple but very peaceful; the pool is wonderful, and the semi-private cove is lovely. Accessible on foot to gorgeous beaches and nice restaurants. Arnold and his staff were very friendly and helpful in helping us plan our days. A great spot for a low-key time in Marigot Bay.
