A dreamy mountain holiday

The location is perfect - it's in the midst of a dreamy mountain scenery and, at the same time, a short drive to the shops and the Murau town center. The hot tub, sauna and gas fire place are game changers not only for skiers but also for the rainy weather in spring. The small zoo is a nice addition for the little ones. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would come again.

The only thing that could use some improvement are the beds and pillows. So, in order to have a perfect stay, consider bringing your favorite pillow and some blankets for extra cosiness :)

Winter wonderland

Lovely and cozy wooden cottage just a couple of minutes drive from the slopes. We really enjoyed our stay there, especially the hot tub on the snowy balcony.

Don’t forget to bring a roll of toilet paper!

Nice week, beautiful location, poorly maintained property. Will be back, but unlikely to Woody Park.

The location was excellent. The house was in a quiet, relaxed and family friendly spot. Easy parking for 2 cars. The house was comfortable enough and we generally had a nice stay. Easy access to bicycle paths and a great restaurant just a few hundred meters away. The Murtal is lovely and there are many possibilities for great mountain hiking or just nice walks in the valley. Beautiful towns all along the valley. We were there in summer but it is very close to ski lifts for winter guests too. Kevin, the property manager, was very friendly and did his best to make us feel comfortable.

So many little problems as the general upkeep of the house is poor. The description of the house was inaccurate and caused a problem too. The Booking.com listing showed we were booking a 110m² house with 3 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom with bunkbeds. The house we were given was 90m² and had 2 double rooms and 2 bunkbed rooms. As we were 2 families (7 people) the house felt very cramped but the property manager would not/could not change the house although the booking was made for a 110m² house. Here is a list of the other problems with the property. On arrival no pillows in one room, bulbs broken in 2 bedside lamps, no bedside lamps in 3 rooms and no wifi. The pillows and new bulbs were quickly delivered and the wifi was installed on the first day and worked great. The property looks quite nice but with lots of little problems we had to put up with/deal with due to a lack of maintenance. There was a clogged sink in the upstairs bathroom, unclogged on the second day. Broken large knife and broken cutting board in the kitchen. A bucket under the kitchen sink collecting water dripping from the drain pipe, almost a bucket full by the end of the week. Dirty tray in the oven. Dishwasher leaving spots on the plates and glasses, like rust. Barbeque/grill they provided was unusable because it was so dirty. Broken and water damaged drawer in the upstairs bathroom. Shower recess needs new silicone. Broken cupboard door unable to be closed in upstairs bedroom. Perished and broken light cover on the terrace. Safety rails on the terrace are rickety and a bit unsafe. Boards on the terrace are lifting in places and splintering. Window in one double bedroom remained 1 to 2 cm open on the length of the hinged side when closed allowing weather in. We even had a problem with the bread delivery, didn´t happen on the first try, but Kevin fixed this. Could be so nice, but we probably won´t be back due to the long list of problems.

Fantastic location. Very quiet even though there is a train track that runs by the side of the site. Two days a week there is a steam train. There were deer in the nearby field which was a lively sight.

Would have been nice to have had the basics..see tips for travellers below. When we have been self catering in the past these are usually included even if they are the left overs from previous travellers. But saying that we were told to bring toilet paper and dish washer tablets with us.

A házak nagyon hangulatosak,saját szaunával,a konyha jól felszerelt,közel van a városhoz és a sípályához is.

Takarítás gyakorlatilag nincs. A kanapé párnái alatt morzsa,ételmaradék volt. A kanapéra kitett takarókat mi hajtottuk össze,ahogy az előző vendég hagyta,úgy várt minket. Mosószert,szivacsot nem adnak,mosogatógép tablettát automatából pénzért lehet venni. A mosogatógépben az előző vendég koszos edényei vártak,ezt is mi mostuk el. Nehéz a kommunikáció az üzemeltetővel.

Super wyjazd - super wypoczynek i genialnym miejscu.

Wyjątkowy klimat - super sprawa z kominkiem - jest bardzo przytulnie. Domek czysty - super atutem jest sauna i jacuzzi :) Odległość od stoku 6 minut :) Wszystko nam pasowało - jest to nasz pierwszy raz w Woody Park - ale na pewno nie ostatni!

Należy poprawić wąż prysznicowy w łazience.
