Great place to stay

This place is truly a hidden gem in Jelsa. The hosts are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable during your stay. They are always willing to provide whatever you need. The property offers parking and is within walking distance of both the beach and the riva. I would 100% recommend it – my family and I had a wonderful time here

The best solo trip I ever had!

My stay at Villa Volga was like a dream. The house is beautiful! The views over Jelsa harbor and the surroundings are amazing. The best part was being able to walk for less than 5 minutes for swimming in the most magical blue sea I ever swam in. Yes you could easily travel further for "better" beaches but I was so happy with swimming off the rocks quite close to the Jelsa harbor. My original plan was to rent a bike to explore the island but I ended up doing everything by foot and barely leaving Jelsa. I also got lucky because there was a problem with hot water in the original room I booked. So I got a free upgrade to a very large and luxury apartment. I felt very lucky!

It was extremely easy I had a message to say the property was ready early so we went up and was immediately greeted by the host.

Made very welcome and the property was well situated and had a fantastic view of the sea.

Not coming again to this property in Jelsa

The female owner was the only good point I could think of.

I booked this property using my Credit Card but on my arrival they asked for Cash which was the 1st shocking exp for me as there was no such info provided by the owner before my arrival. The bathroom was so small that only one person can enter at a time and the wash basin is the smallest I have ever seen. when you wash face , half of the water spills on the floor. Also there were no body wash or shampoo given. The bedroom window was not sound proof, I could not sleep until late night because of outside noise ( music & neighbor's talk ). The kitchen was shared and there were no pan to cook & also no oil. We also saw Spider web & small spiders inside the kitchen. This property is very high in the mountain and if you are having luggage & no car then it will be very difficult to reach there. Last but not least the male host is VERY RUDE & Arrogant and I had a very bitter experience with him during my stay.

Really pleasant stay and super clean room!

It was super clean and that’s a big priority for me. The owner was available at all times. It was walking distance from the centre and there was a private parking. I got a nice room with a small kitchen, the bathroom was new. Very pleasant.

The only confusing thing is that Booking.com is saying the amount will be booked by the credit card and you assume that you have paid but it is NOT true and actually no amount is deducted form the card, so you have to pay in CASH at the property. The owner was kind enough to let us pay through internet banking also and apologized, saying that Booking.com ignores his attempts to solve this issue…

Great location with a beautiful view onto the sea.

The location is awesome, very close to the town, to the Catamaran port and the beaches. The kitchen is equipped very well and you get a table outside where you can eat. The balcony has an amazing view which we very much enjoyed.

The property is near town although inevitably uphill. Room was fine- a bit plain. Good shower. The balcony is out of sun in morning and in full sun in afternoon so apt heats up but there is air on. They let us check out pretty late as no one in the next day which was v nice.

Lovely location close to the beach, supermarket and waterfront. Nice balcony with clothesline. We also had access to a larger shared patio and shared kitchen facilities. Very well stocked.

Fantastic

Absolutely beautiful location. Wonderful welcome from the owner. fantastic outside space with wonderful views and a shared, well equipped kitchen. It is a bit of a climb but we’ll worth it. Google maps will take you up some steep steps but much easier to follow the road around with very little effort. (we found that out too late lol) Would highly recommend staying here, spectacular views from the apartment balcony. Would definitely stay here again and for longer.

Incredible beautiful stay in a wonderful town.

we loved the apartment - amazing value for money, great and very clean, bathroom had a fabulous shower and the view on the harbor was marvelous. The best thing about the apartment were landlord and -lady and their family. Extremely welcoming and caring. They even organized a birthday dinner surprise for us. We will definitely come back one day.

Staff, cleanliness, welcoming, helpful, and for sure the real home feel. Room was sparkling clean, isolation and shading is on another level (do not close it totally you might sleep for a day :) )

It was ok but very basic, you get what you pay for.

The accommodation was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Staff were friendly.

The fridge didn't work so our milk went off. The fixtures in the bathroom were all loose and close to falling off the wall and, although we had a terrace, we didn't really use it because our room was at the back of the building under the stairs so it was dark and never saw the sunlight. We had a view of a wall. Also it's a bit of a climb which isn't mentioned in the description so it might be unsuitable for the elderly or infirm.

Exceptional

I loved my room's charming decor (complete with pretty embroidery on the sheets) and was blown away by the view from my balcony. The owners were so kind; they offered to pick me up from the bus station and invited me to have dessert and wine with them on the terrace. Jelsa also exceeded my expectations as a lovely little town. I wish I could've stayed longer!

Exceptional

The view from the balcony over the village and its little port is spectacular, especially during the sunrise and sunset! The hosts are very friendly, help you with every question and are interested in offering you a beautiful stay. Even when you are a little bit up on the hill(this is why you have the amazing view) it's just few hundred meters to the beach and center, so the location is perfect, too. I definitely recommend staying in Villa Volga when visiting Jelsa. Thank you.
