Perfect family winter getaway in beautiful Kuusamo

Perfect location on the pond, corner unit, beautiful views. Unit is clean and modern with all amenities.

Bedrooms are tiny, with barely room to walk around the bed, but overall it works.

Excellent stay in snowy Kuusamo

We stayed here because we were doing the Santa's Secret Cottage experience, which was a 35 min drive away. Spacious Apartment, Facilities in the hotel, Angry Birds Park for the kids, Swimming pool, Sledging area and walking paths. This is a great place to stay with the kids and we would definitely come back here if we were ever staying in the Kuusamo / Ruka area again. It's quite near Ruka if you are skiing and there is a Ski bus (we didn't use this as we had a car), and also near Lammintupa winter village if you are doing snow adventures.

Nothing really, it is a little expensive to use the facilities but we expected and planned for this.

Winter wonderland with XXI century comforts

The location by the frozen lake is lovely and the cross country track is very close. The apartment was very warm and well prepared. The spa was a huge hit with our kids.

The choice of food was a bit limited and could be extended.

In short, the service level is poor but the apartment is great. Just be ready for some things..

1.) The fireplace works nice and serves well to create a relaxing atmosphere. 2.) The sauna space is enough to lie on the bench and have a relaxing sauna time. Just do not sit close to the window because you feel cold blowing into your neck from your back. 3.) There is enough (new) kitchen appliances and dishes to feel comfortable to cook and eat. 4.) It is easy to control temperature inside. In general, the building is warm. 5.) It is easy to get in the apartment with a plastic card key. It is also enough keys for all who comes to stay. 6.) The view from the apartment is picturesque. We enjoyed it a lot with those big windows. 7.) There two (free) bikes to go around the territory. 8.) There is a storage room with woods for the fireplace, where you can also store big things (e.g. a baby stroller) 9.) There are such comfy things as one time used pads for sauna. 10.) The sofa-bed is large and comfortable to use. 11.) There is grill in the heated terrace.

1.) The bedrooms are too small, you have to walk sideways to manage your way in and out the room. 2.) You have to collect the waste in the apartment and find a garbage bin on the hotel territory to throw it away BY YOURSELF 3.) The bathroom sink was almost plugged: water was taking ages to go down the pipe. 4.) We were 5 adult people plus a kid but there were only two toiler paper rolls in there: it is like seriously? 5.) We had a short, two-day stay. There is a kitchen one can cook in. So we did, but there was no such a little thing as salt and pepper. We had to go to shop to get it. 6.) There is a chimney of the fireplace with a regulator for the smoke to go away. There was no guidance whatsoever to understand which direction we should keep the regulator handle to make it work. 7.) Again, we were 6 people, but the bathroom did not have enough shower gel. I had to go (after having taken sauna) to reception to get that shower gel box to change it by MYSELF so that the rest of my family could take shower. 8.) The bathroom floor is impossible to wipe properly with available wiper in the room. 9.) We had to remove the bed linen from all beds by OURSELVES before checking out the apartment. 10.) Sometimes you have to wait 10s of minutes at the reception to get to the desk. 11.) English is not the strongest skill at the hotel. You can manage but still sometimes communication was difficult.

Juuri sopivan kokoinen siisti asunto 5-henkiselle perheelle ja koiralle. Sopivasti astioita, siisti asunto, ihana terassi, hyvä sauna. Kylpylä ja ladut tosi lähellä. Rukallekin pääsi noin puolessa tunnissa.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Villa die wirklich perfekt ausgestattet war. Kamin, Sauna und sehr bequeme Betten! In der Küche war alles vorhanden. Sogar ein Trockenschrank und eine Waschmaschine!

Bardzo fajny i rozbudowany kompleks rodzinny na zimowe wakacje z rodziną.

Świetna lokalizacja na rodzinny zimowy wyjazd. Podobała mi sie sauna nad jeziorem, bawialnia dla dzieci, restauracja w amerykańskim stylu. Spędziłem tu fantastyczny czas.

To jest spory kompleks składający się z hotelu, apartamentów i domków na wynajem. W Finlandii 15 procent aut to elektryki plus 1 mój. Na 4 wolnych ładowarkach bez ustanku były kolejki lub ładowarki były zajęte. Biorąc pod uwagę jak tanie są powolne ładowarki to ich brak był nieco irytujący.
