Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Alles frisch und hochwertig regional. Einzig der Kaffee, gebrüht in der Kanne, wäre noch zu übertreffen. Interessant war auch die Familiengeschichte, die des Hauses und alles drumherum lesen zu können. Dazu lag eine bebilderte Geschichte im Zimmer aus.

Das Hotel zur Fernmühle liegt idyllisch an der Saale und ist sehr gepflegt. Auf unsere Wünsche wurde sofort und individuell eingegangen. Unsere Fahrräder konnten wir sicher in einer separaten Garage unterstellen. Sowohl der Chef als auch das gesamte Personal waren höflich, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Am Abend genossen wir ein sehr leckeres Essen im hauseigenen Biergarten.
