Guesthouse Pomena

Met by friendly host at their restaurant 100 metres from the Krilo Ferry stop, and kindly it was well cleaned for an early check in. Purpose built apartments with very good air con, excellently located above the harbour, with great views (we were apt. 6, assume 5 is similar). Our family 2 teens used the lounge sofa bed, and requested in advance an additional bed at extra cost (inflatable, but worked surprisingly well). There is a nice shaded terrace area at the back with tables for sitting out - we used for breakfast/lunch. We ate out each evening at the many great local restaurants just minutes away. Also about 15min walk into main area of Mljet National Park for bikes, kayaks and walking. We really enjoyed our stay and I recommend.

Mattress and bathroom fittings didn't feel top quality, but this didn't affect our stay and for the price overall is excellent value.

Well equiped with everything you need for short stay. Close to the beach, coffee shops and restaurants. 15min walk to the National park Mljet entrance.

Beds and pillows could be more comfortable.

The location is brilliant! Fridge in the room. Nice shared patio areas outside.

Aircon worked very poorly, we had to run it at 16 for 24 hours to cool the room at all - the first nights sleep was uncomfortably hot. Guests smoking outside the bathroom window meant we had to close this too. A kettle with some tea or coffee would be nice.
