Lovely and clean space with an easy check in. Well-equipped and everything you needed for a few nights away. Nice quiet location a bit further out of town.
A couple of extra towels would have been appreciated, as one towel per person for a three-day stay wasn't quite enough. The internet connection was unreliable, and unfortunately the downstairs television wasn't working during our stay. Other than these minor issues, we enjoyed our stay.

Great alternative to a hotel, a lot of privacy on the porch, full kitchen and comfy beds. Would stay here again.
Bedroom was towards the road, which could be busy at times and therefore some noise. But as it was a public holiday and weekend, was quite fine with us. Soundproof windows in this room would be helpful.

First Light Kaikoura was a lovely accommodation. The two floor apartment was large, clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed the option of both a lower patio and an upper balcony. It was a short trip to town which we didn’t mind as it allowed us the peacefulness of the landscape above the city.
Unfortunately we did not receive check in information prior so there was a bit of angst when we arrived on how to access the apartment. Once we went to the back of the accommodation we found contact information on the door and we were easily in.

Location was good.Beautiful views from balcony.Bed very comfortable.Clean and tidy accommodation.Bathroom facilities were nice
Whilst there was a hot plate if needed,I think a stove top should be put in,or a combination oven/microwave.A shelve above work top for glasses,cups etc.Didn’t like them under the sink.Most holiday places have been to, have a small milk in fridge.Would have been nice.Individual packet of tea,more choice,there and individual packets of coffee and hot chocolate.More hygienic.
