We went for two nights, left one day earlier.

The premises have a lot of potential. The animals and the nature in general.

The road is quite close and relatively busy, and the windows are long overdue for a replacement. You can hear every car passing with closed windows. The apartment we booked and the whole premises need a renovation. There were a couple of giant cracks which are not pleasant to look at. We were located right above the restaurant which is probably the noisiest room they have. We could hear every chair moved up until after midnight, and after that around 7am for breakfast. We should've been at least warned, considering that we were with our 1 year old daughter. Staff had their storage cart in front of our door, and were quite noisy. Regardless of me coming out and asking several times for some privacy.

The air-condition in the room wasn't strong enough vs. the hot weather we faced and the beds could definitely have been more comfortable.

Great family vacation relax + activities

The apartment was spacious and comfortable, very nice touch is the kids corner with mini- kitchen and kids table. We were also very pleased with the small details- kids minibar and special soap, mini bathrobe and additional black towel for coloured hair. Nice pool and garden, the stables are professionally maintained with free guided tour if you want to learn more. Riding lessons are available from complete beginners level. The staff was polite and friendly everywhere. Restaurant is nice, with decent menu and tasty food. During weekdays there are no crowds, one can easily find free sunbed around the pool or table in the restaurant.

There was mosquito net only on one bedroom window, in the living room none. So you either need to keep windows closed and use the air conditioning or bring repellents with you. The bathroom drainage wasn't working properly and with each shower a small pool was forming on the floor. There is a crack on the wall in the kitchenette. The pool zone was cleaned from waste, cups etc. each evening, but the tables were not wiped so in the morning you still find sticky stains from cups, watermelon and what not.

Great idea - poor implementation

The concept with the horses is phenomenal. Such a great way to connect with these beautiful creatures, and the fact that you can do it anytime you want during your stay was such a pleasant surprise. The staff that was responsible for the horses - caretakers, trainers - they were all very nice and polite. Special thanks to my trainer Joro, who provided a very informative and pleasant horse riding lesson, even though I was afraid. Would definitely come back for that part!

Unfortunately - everything else. Rooms were rather small, the bathrooms didn't correspond with the pricing of the rooms - again small and outdated. The walls are paper thin, we couldn't get any sleep for the first 2 days because someone was coughing all night in the neighbours room - imagine the quality of the walls. This is really unpleasant thing to experience in a hotel where you were expected to get some rest. I couldn't wait to get back home to finally get some decent sleep. Restaurant - when you read the menu - everything sounds amazing, but the reality is tasteless food, prepared without heart and without desire. Staff is annoyed when you ask for recommendations or if you ask too many questions, they just tell you that everything is good - which it wasn't. The desserts were worse than cheap store bought cake. A girl at the reception was extermely rude. We had trouble with turning on the main lights - they had a remote control but we didn't see it at first and no one explained that at our arrival. So I went down and kindly asked if we're doing something wrong or it's just not working. The answer was - "Everything is working, you just don't know how to use it." That's it. So I had to ask a further question in order to get an actual explanation, which I find unacceptable. Also she didn't greet us with a warm welcome or anything, she just stared at us and then went with "So? What do you want?" Again rude. Sorry I didn't get her name - she was the youngest staff member at the reception during our stay. Overall - you have a beautiful place and a great concept but please take care of the details - smaller menu, but with high quality food, warm and welcoming staff and very important - sound proofing. We enjoyed the place!

The accommodation premises were very good. The attractions, spa and relax areas were also nice, well maintained. The staff demonstrated friendly and polite attitude.

It is not particularly related to the property, but the weather was bad, there was no heating in the rooms and there was no chance to get anything dried, that is problematic when kids go the swimming pool twice a day

Horses, magic and SPA

Everything is created and cared for with a lot of attention to detail. The rooms are stylish, comfortable and clean. The Spa is small but has everything I needed. The restaurant is perfect. We were amazed even by the breakfast. The horses and the track are the focal point of the whole complex and if you have never experienced the world of these magnificent animals like me that is the place to start.

A very impractical decision of the interior designers to fold the toilet bowl almost under the sink. I can't imagine how a larger person could use it.

Superb

+++ Pet friendly, which was the main reason to select this hotel. +++ The personnel. Especially the waitress that served us for 2 evenings. On the second evening when our kids were obviously tired, she brought us a table game to keep them occupied, without us even asking for such. Great professional! ++ The spa is small but nice. ++ Everything was very clean. ++The surrounding area is absolutely great and the garden of the hotel was very well maintained! ++ Around the hotel there is this path where one can walk the dog freely. ++ The horses are great as well as the instructors!

- There was an issue with the booking, I believe by booking.com itself, where instead of two 7-year-old kids we got somehow the option for one 12-year-old. Despite the fact that we have booked the deluxe studio which should be for four people and we were three (just me and 2 of my sons) I needed to pay an extra sum of money for one of the kids which was a bit strange for me.

"walking" on a horse.. does not mean that you will be released with a horse.. you will be driven by man around the arena.. this is such a joke.. suitable only for beginners and children who have not seen a horse before.. the food in the restaurant is expensive .. the chef does not know how to cook at all

Nothing in particular. We checked in on Sunday and left on Tuesday, not sure how crowded it would be during a full weekend. Some of the dishes in the restaurant could use some improvement (in the way they are actually prepared)

Amazing place, look forward to visit again

We had the most amazing time during our stay in Trakiec and we look forward to our next trip there! The entire team is super professional, friendly and extremely polite going above and beyond to meet the customers expectations. The hotel itself has lovely facilities with beautiful landscaping and green areas, the rooms are spacious and clean, the breakfast and overall menu at the restaurant are very nice. The most impressive thing however are the majestic horses and the very well maintained and clean arena and stable. It was a pleasure to have horse riding lessons with instructors that care for the animals and are willing to teach you the subtleties of the sport! Specials thanks to our two instructors, Georgi and Bobi, the reception team for coordinating all our bookings (massages/horse riding lessons/ restaurant booking) -the short tour during our first day was lovely -and our charming waitress Maria :) keep up the amazing work and providing that 'family' feel to your guests. Excellent 👌

Half an hour from Plovdiv, this is the best place for a holiday away from the big city. Everything was at a very high level- service, rooms, food, overall ambience. We will definitely come back for the horse riding!

Exceptional

Everything was perfect! Exceptionally clean SPA and rooms. Food was always good and reasonably priced. One can choose horse riding, archery or just taking a long walk on the eco trail around the premises.

Please move the archery targets a little bit aside from the river. We lost a couple of arrows because of that and were charged for, which is not fair. There is plenty of space around the area in order to avoid that from happening.
