About this house rental
Grangehill is a lovely open plan home with large veranda's , on the North face of Mount Macedon. It is set on an acre, and has sweeping views towards Hanging Rock, The Jim Jim and the Cobaw ranges. The house has a distinct mid century feel, with 5 bedrooms and three bathrooms, an open plan kitchen/ kitchenette /living area, and a music room with piano, spread over 3 levels. There is also a games room, bar, chess room, darts with pool table and a bocce court with children’s play area.

Absolutely amazing place to stay with family. Views are spectacular and close to things to do in Mount Macedon and Woodend but yet secluded in enough on the mountain for absolute tranquility. Well equipped with everything and Adam and Erika were lovely and very helpful when we arrived to explain everything. Great getaway!

The two bedrooms in the main floor had folding dividers on the adjoining wall that didn’t go from floor to ceiling hence there was no privacy in either room.
Access to one of the bedrooms was through the main bathroom which again provided a lack of privacy to the bedroom and inconvenience to the occupants. That bathroom was shared by four couples
The barbecue was in a bad unkept unclean state. It took a good half hour to be ready to use and no appropriate cleaning tools/equipment was provided.
Not a great stay for eleven adults
