My Goa Home Away From Home Vivenda Rebelo Homestay is one of those rare places that doesn’t feel like a hotel at all — it feels like a home. Set in a beautiful heritage home, the place has a warmth and character that is difficult to find in regular accommodation. It is cozy, peaceful, spotlessly clean and extremely well maintained. The washroom deserves a special mention — exceedingly clean, which is something I really appreciate. The location is excellent as well. A lot of well-known eateries are within a 15–20 minute walk, while there are two fine-dining restaurants barely a minute away. So you get the peace and charm of a heritage home without being away from great food. But what makes the stay truly special is Deric, the owner. He is humble, warm and genuinely customer-centric. There is no need to call him for anything — just WhatsApp him and he is always quick to respond and happy to help. You get the feeling that he genuinely cares about his guests and their experience. One of my favourite moments was sitting out on the terrace, listening to the sound of the Goan monsoon rain and sipping a chilled beer. It was one of those simple, perfect moments that you remember long after the holiday is over. The whole place has a wonderfully homely feel. You don't feel like a tourist staying in a property; you feel like you are staying in someone's lovely Goan home. I can say this with complete certainty: Vivenda Rebelo is now my permanent home in Goa for all my future visits. In fact, this is the kind of place that could actually make me come back to Goa just to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for warmth, cleanliness, character and genuine Goan hospitality rather than just another hotel room.

Excellent Western and Indian choices--forbreakfast I loved the location, as it is close to the river and attractions -- yet on a quiet street and enveloped by abundant vegetation. The small Portughese-style touches addcharm and character to the property.

I have no complaints-- all requests were answered efficiently and courteously.

The location and the ambience of the property. Next comes in our mind is the cleanliness. A lot of thought was given to make up the room. Every thing one expects in a room was there. Above all the hospitality and right advice of Mr Derik Rebelo was like icing on the cake.

Keeping in view the tariff we paid, I couldn't find anything we didn't like.

The property is in a great location, a short walk from the main sights and a lovely sea walk. The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Derek went out of his way to help us with recommendations, and onward travel etc. I would highly recommend staying here.
