Fabulous host and beautiful location to spend a few days exploring the area

Perfect, quiet, village location in the vicinity of the Normandy Beaches and Museums. Alexander was most attentive and couldn’t have been more helpful as a host! Lovely garden with a fire-pit and cracking view of the church Sufficient kitchen equipment and living room to entertain guests. Comfortable attic mezzanine bedroom with steep, quirky stairs Supermarche within walking distance. Historic wall plaques around the village

Nothing to dislike if you are adaptable to something different as a bedroom - mind your head ;)

This was in a lovely location central to Juno Beach in a quiet neighborhood.

The property is central to what we wanted to visit and is on Juno Beach. The Boulangerie was just down the street for early morning baking. The view of the church just behind was amazing. It was nice to have some kitchen facilities. The common area was great for socializing and the master bedroom was fantastic. Alexandre was very helpful.

Our stay was very relaxing. Everything was as expected from the information provided by Booking.com. The host communicated all of the details required in a timely fashion. Overall very pleased.

Close to bakery and groceries. Juno beach was nearby but not in walking distance. Very quiet area.

Lovely and relaxing holiday

The Location is in s quiet part of the Normandy beaches. It was very quiet, relaxing and comfortable. The gite was compact and cosy and it was very well equipped. For our time of year, parking was virtually outside the entrance. I like the secure space in the entrance area for our bike and the excellent bulongerie was 100 m down the street. I must compliment Monsiuer Alexander for excellent communication before and after our stay. Thank you

The stairs were very steep. More like step ladders to the mezzanine bedroom. Made it tricky when getting up in the middle of the night for the loo. Took a few days to get used to the church bells tolling every hour ( and half hour). Ear plugs helped. But it was fine later on

It was a very relaxing stay in a perfect location.

The gite we stayed in was a renovated 18th century house which was done to a great standard. it was very quaint. bare stone interior walls. Then fitted out with a very stylish modern bathroom and kitchen area .

There’s nothing I can criticise about the property . it was a perfect fit for our stay .

Great stay & perfect for our D-Day Ceremonies as it is in a central position. Gite was perfect .

Arrival codes on the door great. Beds really comfortable. Shower Great. Good location. Kitchen facilities good.

When you are not completely into historty of WO2, it is not a very interesting environment to be.

Easy entrance, parking car and bikes and kitchen facility.

It took 1,5 days before we had a correct WiFi code and Wifi. Position of bed was poor, one bed position could only be properly reached by entering from the feet-side as the roof was very low there.

Overall a really lovely spot and very historic, it was very special for me personally

Loved the area as it was very special to me personally. My grandfather was part of the liberation in 1944 so to walk where he had been was unbelieveable, also the many interesting facts around town noting how Canadians liberated it was really lovely.

Very small village with no close facilities at this time of year (October) and having to supply/refresh items like toilet paper. We were travelling from Canada in a rental car and were rather unprepared for this

Symphatisches Cottage

Die Unterkunft ist ein renoviertes cottage mit entsprechendem Charme. Hier ist Gemütlichkeit angesagt. Wir hatten alles, was wir für zwei Nächte brauchten. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Nur der Vollständigkeit halber weisen wir darauf hin, dass der Schlafbereich nur durch eine Raumspartreppe erreichbar ist. Der nächtliche Toilettengang erfordert daher Konzentration.

Prettig verblijf voor 2 nachten.

Ligging nabij Juno beach en andere WO-II gedenkplekken. Vriendelijke gastvrije host. Last minute boeking verliep prima. Kleine ongemakken werden goed opgelost door host. Parkeren goed mogelijk.

Trap naar slaapplek was heel steil, ‘s nachts minder handig voor het toilet en voor oudere mensen of mensen minder goed ter been minder geschikt. Badkamer heel klein, wel praktisch ingericht.

Très bien

Cottage bien aménagé et cuisine bien équipée. Bonne literie et canapé convertible deux places très confortable. Agréable jardin avec quelques tables et un BBQ. Jolie vue sur le clocher de l'église. Logement situé au coeur du village, à proximité d'une boulangerie (5mn à pied), d'un Intermarché (10mn à pied) et de la plage (5mn à pied).

A noter que l'escalier menant à la mezzanine est raide donc pas adapté pour les personnes à mobilité réduite. Pour ces dernières il y a le canapé convertible.
