Located very close to the historic town and overlooking a river, this place was fabulous. It is an old building with lots of data wood, shutters and balconies with river views.
Rooms have fans, en-suite bathrooms, air-con and comfortable beds. Cleaned and changed every day, with water refills and tea and coffee provided. Free bananas in reception were an added bonus.
The staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble and they are welcoming and smiling.
We even borrowed bicycles for the day and went off exploring.
Breakfast is the best that we have had on our trip and we didn't need lunch after eating in the morning

Beautiful old building with lovely wooden finishes and plenty of character. Great location, close to everything, with very friendly and welcoming staff.
The room was quite dark due to the dim lighting, and there wasn’t much privacy with the curtains open, which added to this. Being a beautiful traditional wooden house, sound also travels easily, so you can hear quite a lot throughout the property.

Great location, walkable to most local sites but just on the edge of the busy tourist area. Tom was very helpful and a delight to deal with. Breakfast was the best we have had on this trip, both the local version (highly recommended) and the western options. Would highly recommend this hotel, and I don’t often leave reviews.
