DIRT, PUBIC HAIR, FUNGUS and STOLEN DEPOSIT

Nice view, pellet fireplace

DIRT, PUBIC HAIR, FUNGUS and STOLEN DEPOSIT The house has a BIG FUNGUS ISSUE. The 200 year old house is built directly on a rock and has a massive condesation problem. Despite 24/7 heating and daily airing the walls, floors and windows are wet. We found massive fungus growth under bed, behind furniture, wallpaper peeling off.... and naturally we reported it during our one week stay. We agree with other reviewers that the property is NOT CLEAN. Many items in the kitchen had a layer of GREASE and a casserole had food leftover in it, we found an old bra in the bedroom and other "funny things", pubic hair in the bathroom. We told the hosts about these issues too. Cleaning is included in the price yet, despite all our complaints about dirt and fungus, WE WERE CHARGED FOR 16 HOURS OF EXTRA CLEANING, without any proof or receipt (the grand father told us he was charged to do the cleaning) required from the owner - we LOST 175 EUROS of our caution money for the family's own "cleaning". Booking.com can not help you as legally it is between the owner and you. So the only solution is to GO TO COURT. Which we are.

Mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht voor langer verblijf, vriendelijke hosts

Mooie locatie voor rustzoekers met prachtig uitzicht en een heerlijk grote tuin. Veel info over de omgeving en tips voor wandelingen zijn aanwezig.

Woonkamer is donker door kleine ramen. Leeslicht kan beter. In slaapkamer is matras net te kort voor bed, dekbed zit hierdoor los.

Unterkunft ist ok, wenn man die Bedingungen kennt.

Die Lage ist sehr schön, abgelegen und ruhig. Die Abrechnung wurde korrekt gesendet und die Kaution erstattet.

Die Abwicklung ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Vor Buchung gibt es vieles (in den Bedingungen) zu beachten. Eine vorab Kaution (per Überweisung ) und eine Verbrauchsabrechnung hatte ich so noch nie. Obwohl ich oft Ferienwohnungen oder Zimmer buche, habe ich solche besonderen Bedingungen bisher noch nicht gesehen. Zur Wohnung: Größe ist in Ordnung, Ausstattung minimalistisch und die letzte Reinigung war eine Zeit lang her. Bei unserer Ankunft war es in der Wohnung sehr kalt. Da wir Schlafsäcke dabei hatten, war es ok. Zu beachten (steht auch in den Bedingungen): Es ist keine Bettwäsche vorhanden und auch keinerlei Badtextilien.

Avant l’arrivé : obligation de payer en dehors de booking + paiement d’une caution obligatoire ce qui complique le processus et ne permet pas de faire confiance pour la réservation. Je n’ai pas de reçu de facture ce qui est illégal. Obligation de signer des conditions de locations lunaires (sanction financière s’il « sente » de la cigarette, si oublie de choses dans le frigo, si détérioration d’une carte touristique prise gratuitement à l’office de tourisme….) + paiement électricité et eau chaude en plus de la location) Étant donné les conditions très strictes et exceptionnelles, nous nous attendions à un logement irréprochable ce qui n’a pas été le cas. Pendant la location : checkin OK. MAIS le propriétaire a pris une photo depuis l’extérieur de la maison d’une chambre alors que nous n’étions pas là. Violation vie privée du locataire pour nous reprocher la mauvaise utilisation non fondée de duvet. Nous avons dû envoyer des photos de nos lits faits pour prouver notre bonne foi. Maison dans un état déplorable. Rideau tache, araignée dans toutes les pièces, taches sur les matelas (probablement jamais nettoyé), canapé lit qui peut s’effondrer à tout moment, poussières…. La maison n’a pas été nettoyé avant notre arrivé (ou alors très mal nettoyé). Même si nous sommes en campagne et prêt à accepter que ce ne soit pas parfait, le minimum requis est loin d’être atteint. Un des locataires s’est fait mangé par des puces de lit et a dû aller chez le médecin. Ces frais devraient être à la charge du propriétaire. Après la location : checkout facile. Remboursement assez rapide de la caution (même si surprise de devoir payer l’électricité, eau chaude et eau froide). Même si c’était indiqué dans les conditions de location c’est la 1ere fois que je vois ça. De plus, on a pas vérifié le compteur au début et à la fin de la location donc les propriétaires peuvent nous faire payer n’importe quel prix.
