Most rude host, must pay in cash, must be out by 9 am

Rooms are reasonably spacious and clean … …However read my comment below…

Having travelled all over the world for the last 25 years , with hundreds of different hotel check-ins , I have never had such a rude host / owner experience . The very abrupt proprietor of this facility should remove himself from the front desk and guest services immediately . Unbelievably halfway through our check-in , he just left and seemed to go down the back somewhere and sell some radom item out of a shed to somebody else , after about 10 minutes of us yelling out “ hello hello hello “ he came back as if no time had passed and nothing was wrong , no apology, and continued his abrupt behaviour . Although the rooms are reasonably spacious and clean and quite central , they are right on the road and very noisy . The owner of this property will ONLY accept cash ( very odd ) when Booking.com says, credit cards accepted . Booking.com clearly states this facility has a fridge, when we got there he argued that we hadn’t paid enough, he needs to supply a fridge ( as clearly stated in his Booking.com listing ) , or correct the listing. Ultimately we got no fridge , even though that was one of the reasons we booked the hotel based on his incorrect listing . Whoever you’re booking agent is or quotes , trust me it will be more when you get to this property , as the owner will force you to buy coupons for the beach and toilets. We accept there is local additional city tax, but his extra amount pushed the entire price up by 10% ( all in cash ) . It was also the first time ever I was required to check-out before 9 o’clock in the morning, this also strikes me as odd . If you don’t want a ‘ stern ‘ German man treating you like a child , with so many odd and misleading conditions , then book somewhere else ….

I paid 10 % more, due to local taxes which had not been explained before. I could not sleep at all due to noises from the streets and from the other rooms. Very limited sound-proof.

Location is great and close to the Binzer Strand. In all i personally like my stay, staff ware friendly and room was also cleaned. Only negative point is that they don't accept card payments, cash payment is the only option available.

The hotel only accepts cash payments, but on booking.com says the hotel accepts credit cards. No shampoo, no shower gel in the bathroom, not even a bag of tea or instant coffee in the room. The beds are extremely hard, the pillows extremely soft. The bungalow is very small with low ceilings. Had to wait outside for a host to show up for more than 15 minutes while he was in his office in the next building. The host was arrogant and not helpful at all. Check out 9am. No space to extend stay or leave luggage at the hotel. Extremely overpriced for a small bungalow like room in the garden. Never again. Thanks.

It's not what you say but how you say it

Owner was rude from the beginning. Acted annoyed about questions, didnt listen, interrupted constantly. Raised extra charges and got quite loud when asked about what they were for. Everything seemed correct in the end but he could have stayed friendly and transparent about the extra charges. Room was loud and right next to the storage room, where they rummaged until late in the evening, although there clearly we're better rooms available. Some also seemed to have better views. Mine looked out on the parking lot - and the parking lot looked back. Had to keep the blinds shut at all times. Wouldnt recommend and wont book again.

Friendly staff and good location, there are no bargains on Rügen but this place is almost reasonable.

Beds aren't super comfortable and the kitchen is basic, but with so many great restaurants in the town you don't need to use it.

Sehr schöne Anlage.Und vergleichsweise günstig. Aber Rügen ist immer bisschen teurer. Dafür gibt es ein wunderschönes Meer und Leute😀 Absolut weiter zu empfehlen 😀💯 Betten ebenfalls sehr gut! Sehr netter und kulanter Chef! Sehr loyal ! Ich werde wiederkommen

Vielleicht ein Verbesserungsvorschlag: Tee und Kaffee mit Wasserkocher dazustellen, wie in anderen Unterkünften. Und Duschgel und Schampoo. Aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau, von mir 😅 Alles super!

Schöner Spontanaufenthalt

Wir haten wieder ein Zimmer in den hinteren Bungalows. Das Bad ist außerhalb des Zimmers (Gemeinschaft Bad). Was absolut nicht schlimm ist für eine Nacht. Die Bäder (2 Stück) sind immer sauber. Das Zimmer ebenso. Wir haben wie immer nichts zu bemängeln und kommen bestimmt wieder spontan vorbei. :-)

Sehr laut an der Hauptverkehrsstraße, zumindest in dem Zimmer im Vorderhaus. Dunkle Jalousien müssen zu bleiben sonst kann jeder ins Bad oder Zimmer schauen.

An sich tolle Unterkunft man wurde freundlich empfangen - das Zimmer war soweit gut ausgestattet und die Umgebung bot einiges zum Entdecken.

Der Preis welcher hier angegeben ist - und bei Buchung bestätigt wird - ist nicht der Endpreis - es kommt noch eine Kurtaxe pro Tag dazu so das am Ende fast 30 Euro mehr zustande kamen. Daher wird hier auch nur Barzahlung angeboten. Dieser Umstand sollte einem vor Buchung bewusst sein.

Atsiskaityti pageidavo tik grynaisiais pinigais. Išsiregistruoti paprašė iki 09:00 val. ryto, dar niekur nėra tekę taip anksti išvykti.

Die Lage war gut und man konnte auch die wichtigsten Punkte gut zu Fuß erreichen

Die Restzahlung kam mir nach Errechnung des Inhabers Herr Middel etwas viel vor hatte ja schon die Hälfte angezahlt aber ich habe es anstandslos bezahlt (423.50€) Nachdem ich mein Zimmer eingeräumt hatte viel mir dieser Betrag doch einfach zu hoch aus Habe dann Herrn Middel noch mal gebeten das er mir eine Rechnung ausstellen könnte Nachdem ich alles zusammengerechnet habe Parkgebühr 40€,Kurtaxi 20,40€,Frühstück 50€ und die Restzahlung fürs Zimmer 173€ kam ich auf eine Summe von 283,40€ und nicht auf 423,40€ Nach einem weiteren Gespräch mit Herrn Middel das diese Summe nicht korekt sei sagte er mir wir hätten es zusammen berechnet und das würde schon stimmen Daraufhin habe ich Herrn Mittel noch mal gebeten evtl das gegebene Geld noch mal nachzuzählen Aber darauf hin sagte er mir nur dann waren es wohl nur 323€ gewesen Ich habe mich daraufhin dem Schicksal ergeben und bin wieder in meinem Zimmer gegangen und habe mich sehr geärgert wie man hier bei einer Reklamation mit meinem Minus von 140€ so einen Kommentar abgeben kann Ich fühlte mich richtig betrogen aber ich war alleine und hatte keinen Zeugen der das Vorgehen beobachtet hat.Ich werde diese Pension Middel keinem weiter empfehlen
