Casa Rural Higeralde

Very quiet at night and slept really well, the view from the bedroom was stunning and breakfast was wonderful. The host was friendly and helpful. Access was on my sat nav so arrived totally safely but thought I was going off piste when going up steep single track. Once there the property was as described, quiet with amazing views.

Restaurant next door was only option and was very expensive for what was served not amazing at all, not bad just pretentious but lacking. Tho their Rioja was lovely and not expensive!! Smell of dog in the room not my favourite.

Our room was lovely and had a lovely terrace/balcony with a fabulous view over the bay towards France. Breakfast was great and served with the same fabulous view. Friendly staff. We'd go back, but make sure we can have dinner there too.

We were disappointed to learn that the restaurant attached to the hotel was not open (closed Monday & Tuesdays apparently). It was a big reason for staying out of town as the restaurant had great reviews. Would've been good to know this when booking.

Great views over town and into France. Helpful host. Delicious local made apple cider.

The views are incredible, from the room, the breakfast area, from anywhere! It's very quiet with the sound of the birds waking you up in the morning. Fantastic service. Breakfast was enormous and very tasty - fruit, dry meats, cheese, breads, cakes, along with juice, coffee and homemade cider - amazing. The room was spacious, with a panoramic window overlooking the bay , terrace and and good bathroom. Bed was very big and comfy
