Excellent stay. Very comfortable and warm hospitality

What a great find! You are really welcomed from the moment you arrive. Simos took the time to orientate us to the area and went through places of interest, restaurants and beaches with the map over coffee and lunch on arrival. Breakfast basket with local produce was amazing each morning along with the menus and description with stories of the foods. You could never leave unsatisfied, was always offered refills and more! The staff were really lovely. Mama Maria was on vacation when we arrived, but so glad she was back for some of our stay. What an amazing woman! We were treated to gifts and so much more! Her warmth and incredible energy and giving nature was special. You were seen as family rather than guests! Every complex needs a mama Maria! Rooms were comfortable and cleaned well each day by the lovely cleaner. Simos was always on hand to ensure you had a comfortable stay and went beyond expectations to ensure you were able to enjoy your stay. He offered to be our guide and take us to the large church in Parikia to get the full history of such an amazing place. As he was busy the day we chose to visit, he arranged us to meet his father there for our guided tour. What an amazing man! He was so knowledgeable, informative and so generous with his time. A real highlight to our trip. We were really happy with our choice of apartments. You arrive as strangers and leave as family. Thank you all at Alea

We couldn't stay away!

We fell in love with Alea Apartments 2 years ago and our experience here is partly what brought us back to Paros on this trip. We felt like we were visiting friends when we were catching up with Simos. The breakfast every morning is an incredible experience in itself. And the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Maybe we'll be back in another 2 years, if we're lucky!

Just perfect and family friendly.

The breakfast was amazing. Everyday there was a local Greek special of the day served with an explanation what you get. Simos the owner and Anastasia were really nice and friendly. Simos gave us a lot of good recommendations across the island. He was always doing everything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms had everything you need. In total, it was a perfect holiday staying at Alea Apartments.

Wonderful and unique place with lots of personality that is a bit off the beaten path.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was unique and fun, each morning breakfast was presented in a basket with fresh items from the island. We met wonderful people from all over the world, Serbia, Australia, Germany etc. Enjoyed wonderful conversations. If you enjoy playing board games this the place to go! More than I can describe. Overall fun and delightfully quirky place with lots of personality.

The location was a bit out of the way. You had a to cross a busier street and walk through a path and street to the restaurants and action.

Highly recommended

We had a wonderful experience thanks to the extremely nice staff and great service. The breakfast, with its daily changing local dishes and specialties, was a truly unique experience and a great way to start the day. The owners consistently went above and beyond, taking time to share the island's history and providing detailed recommendations for beaches and restaurants in the different parts of the island. They always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the island.

A nice place to stay!

Located in a strategic position a few minutes from the centre of Noussa, both on foot and by scooter. Relatively new structure with several neighbouring apartments, breakfast area on the ground floor and entrance reception. The apartment (4pax) has two areas comfortably separated by a wall and with enough space for backpacks/bags/beauty. AC present. Minimalist kitchen. The bathroom is a little small, essential, with useful shelves to rest as much as necessary. The apartment offers a small outdoor space with a drying rack and a small table. Daily cleaning of the apartment. Breakfast offers typical products ( boiled eggs / fruit / yoghurt), all good, maybe it lacks a little variation in the days and something more than salty and drinks. On request they bring extra coffee with a lot of kindness. Let's get to the best part. The welcome of the Hosts (Simos and Maria) is genuine and nice, with a lot of information about Paros. Every day they offer smiles and friendliness. Also the staff in the morning always available and attentive. This made the difference in the permanence! They also provide many useful information for the beaches. A recommended solution for both couples and friends. We had a great time.

Best stay in Paros

What an amazing stay in Paros! Simos and Mama Maria were the best hosts and were so welcoming and accomodating. They provided a map of the island and highlighted all the best spots to visit including beaches, restaurants and other sites to see. We had a full breakfast provided every day which was different and all locally sourced. The room itself was perfect and included a balcony with the most amazing view. Very short walking distance to Náousa, local bakeries, supermarket, and a small swimming spot. We were sad to leave!

Paros home from home

Everything, Mamma Maria and Simos were so welcoming and a mine of information about things to see and do on the island. The studio felt like home from home, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was an experience in itself, with local produce daily and a lovely insight from Maria about each item in our basket. Great location, just a 10 minute walk into Naoussa. Local supermarket and beach close by. We will be back!

Exceptional Greek hospitality

Firstly, Maria and Simos (owners) are just wonderful people. Exceptional service from all staff. Thank you Maria for your home made delicious sweet Greek treats every morning with breakfast. We are going to miss it. Breakfast at Alea is exceptional. Locally made bread, butter, delicious fruits, yoghurt, cheese and honey. Mattress, pillows and bedsheets clean and very comfortable for a good night's sleep. Alea apartment located next to the supermarket, bakery etc. Thank you Simos and Maria for sharing your knowledge about Paros island and places to eat in Nousea & Parikia. We enjoyed our stay at Alea.

Maria and Simos :) the best hosts ever! The location is great, far enough from the crowds but close enough to walk to the centre of beautiful Naoussa. The room was big enough for the 3 of us, and the breakfast was a surprise every day.

Greek Hospitality

Alea Apartments If you are looking for a well appointed but authentic Greek experience, I recommend you checking out Alea Apartments in Naoussa Paros. The location is perfect - a quick 10 minute walk and your in the heart of Naoussa; there is also beach there if you want to swim and sunbathe with out renting a car. The best attribute Alea offers is the hospitality of the wonderful Varris family. Simos went out of his way for us on arrival day, (and every other day) helping me out with a delayed luggage issue, he is so knowledgeable about everything Paros- restaurants- beaches etc. What sealed the deal when we were booking this property was the unique approach to the their breakfast offerings- every day something new and Greek is offered by lovely Maria. If you want to an authentic Greek experience stay at this property.

Very well located, only a 10 min walk into the city centre where you have shops, bars and restaurants and the bus stop. Also walking distance to a lovely beach. Maria and Simos were incredibly hospitable and gave us plenty of great recommendations. The room was clean and watching the sunset from the balcony was incredible.

The shower is quite small and there is no ledge to put your toiletries. It was inconvenient but wouldn’t stop me from staying there again!

Beautiful experience in Naousa

EVERYTHING was outstanding. Alea is the most beautiful example of excellent hospitality from Simos and Mama María. I would rather stay in this beautiful, clean, fresh apartment than in any 5 star hotel in the world. Simos’ map of the island with all the recommendations was perfect for our 4 days and Mama María kept us fed, caffeinated and smiling every day. The breakfasts were stunning and clearly made with love and care using local ingredients that changed every day. It was great to be able to take an umbrella for the beach. Everyone should experience Naousa from Alea!

This is the best place to stay on Paros. Nothing else comes close!

We have stayed in numerous hotels in many different places because of work, life, etc. We can honestly say that we have never been this treated this well anywhere, ever. We were not treated like another pair of guests passing through - we were treated like family. Upon arrival hours earlier than our check in time, Mama Maria took me by the arm and guided my wife and I to snacks and drinks. After turning down a gracious ferry port pickup that was offered over text, we finally got to meet Simos to go over what Paros had to offer. He was interested in what we wanted to see and do and had the best recommendations. He also offered to give a tour of the church in Parika (DO IT!). What ensued was an evening we will never forget, and goes to show what true open-hearted kindness looks like. The breakfast chats with Natasha (what a breakfast!). Maria making us laugh in passing every time with her tireless warmth. And Simos somehow finding the time in his crazy schedule to make sure not only we were taken care of, but every guest staying there as well. Its a true shock to the system to see how lovely and hospitable this family can be ( which also includes Simos’ father, Aristides!) Thank you so much for your time and energy. We miss you all and Alea very very much.

The best accommodation we have stayed at! Cannot wait to return!

It is hard to put into words the genuine kindness and total hospitality we received at Alea! It is the kind of hospitability that you can't believe even exists. Everything was perfect; our room was so clean, cozy and we had a balcony with a spectacular view of the ocean. The shower was awesome. Simos and his mother Maria were some of the nicest people I have ever met. They ensured our entire time we were taken care of; whether that was by means of all kinds of recommendations, transportation or even just making us coffee while we chatted :) The breakfast baskets are to die for; we were truly so excited to see what local Paros treats awaited us each morning. I loved that you can have breakfast in your room or downstairs at their beautiful outside seats. The location is perfect; tucked away but still close to everything you would want to see while in Naousa. If you want to experience genuine Greek hospitality and feel as if you are staying with family members, stop looking and choose this beautiful place. Amazing hospitality

Amazing Greek hospitality from both Simos and Maria. Clean and comfortable apartments with sea view. Short walk to beach and into main town of Naoussa.

No shower curtain so bathroom and toilet were quite wet after showering but did not discredit our stay.

When you travel, you are usually treated as a guest. But at Alea Apartmenst, you are treated like a beloved member of Maria's family. The accommodations are newly renovated and lovely, the breakfast is delicious and extremely generous, the location is super close to all you need - bus stop, beach, supermarket, town. You can find these amenities at other places. But the experience of interacting with a warm and caring host who makes you laugh, helps you experience the island in amazing ways and is always quick to help - now that is a rare find. We travel a lot. Alea Apartments rates at the top of our list! Don't miss it!!

Feeling like home

We felt like home. The hosts were simply amazing, always friendly, giving us recommendations, food 👀 and just making us feel amazing. The location was great 10 minutes away from the center of Noussa. The breakfast is good, you try local food everyday. Our room had a balcony with view to the see. We just loved it.

Sometimes the local dishes of the breakfast were not our preferred option for the morning (Olives and feta salad) and there was no way to choose something different.

With each breakfast Mamma María gives you all the warmth and hospitality possible and more she makes you feel entirely part of the place. For those looking for a destination with lovely beaches, a picturesque center, and to be in contact with the local people, we highly recommend visiting Naousa and Alea apartments. Such a lovely stay! The owners are a son and mother, they are the kindest people you will ever meet! They did everything they could to make out stay happy & comfortable. The location is close to Naoussa and room is very comfortable / nicely decorated. They morning breakfast is homemade daily and delicious.

Excellent on all fronts

We loved our stay at Alea, we felt very welcomed by Simos and his mother Mama Maria. They were so kind and showed us incredible hospitality, treating us as friends and family, which made our time in Paros so memorable. The location is very close to the center of Naoussa, and there is a bus stop right outside; everything you need is quite close. We also had an amazing sea view from the terrace, which was really nice during breakfast and especially at sunset. We highly recommend staying here!

Few days at Naoussa

The room was quite big and comfy.

The shower had issues which made water flood the bathroom, first few nights the issue was solved with a few extra towels we asked for which we put on the floor, it got worse through the week to the point the last night the whole room was flooded. The toilet water pressure was too high, it was that high that every time you flushed (even with the seat down) water would come out, not nice. It is a shame as the room was very decent but our stay was not that nice because of the bathroom.

Perfect place for a stay in Naoussa

The people who own this place are amazing, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is very interesting since they bring something traditional every day. The house is beautiful and close to the bus station and about 15 minutes on foot to the center of Naoussa.

A bit everything. Simos pays lot of attention on the breakfast to make you try everyday something different but always local food with good quality. We appreciated it.

The most wonderful experience

From the moment we arrived it was a relaxing relief. The host greeted us and shared such a great knowledge of the most amazing places for my family to visit. The crafts,the warmth and a plus for the coziness for the room. We were more than happy with all that Alea Apartments had to offer. I personally would highly recommend Alea to all my friends that travel and know that they would take good care of them as they did my family from Start to finish.
