Clean and well run . Very helpful staff
We were in an annex and felt we were overlooked by some windows in the main hotel. We were concerned about our privacy. We gently pointed this out and the hotel were going to check .

We stayed in an accessible room in the Captain's Quarters. The room was lovely, well equipped and the gin and tonic waiting for us much appreciated.
Everything was clean and well presented. The Yorkshire Breakfast was glorious and a testament to a fine county.
The hotel is an impressive building in a lovely, scenic spot. The main bar has an impressive selection of beers, lagers, spirits and wines. The view from the dining room is impressive.
The staff were lovely. From the receptionist, the barman, the waitress, the manager and everyone else we met. Smiling, happy, helpful and left you with a smile on your face and the feeling that they really did want you to enjoy staying there.
There is parking but it is not well signposted. If you are staying there I strongly recommend calling up first and getting directions. It is also tight getting in and out so be careful.

Absolutely fabulous location, the hotel exceeded our expectations, comfortable room and lovely breakfasts overall. Plenty of parking and friendly staff throughout.
