Magical view/location, fantastic restaurant attached to the hotel, cozy rooms.
The view from the room was magical! The room itself was cozy, it's perfect for solo travelers or couples. We had such a special experience having dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The meals are beautifully prepared by the owner/chef, and contributed to an authentic Provencal experience. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
There was a low ceiling that both of us hit our heads on. I wish there was a caution sign warning us about the low ceiling. Also, the headboard for the bed was uncomfortable (the wooden boards were creaky/fragile/uncomfortable).

Cheap hotel with no car park near Roussillon
Bonnieux is a nice hamlet on the hills of Provence, not so far from Roussillon and its beautiful Sentier des Ocres. The hotel has a dining room from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the hills surrounding the area. We’ve stayed in the dependance near the hotel, which was clean, equipped with airco and quiet at night.
The breakfast had no buffet and was a bit poor compared to the French standard. Although the structure features a free car park on the Booking website, there’s actually no car park at all since the hotel is on the street, so there’s no room to park both in front of and behind the hotel. Honestly, I don’t think it’s fair to advertise something which is not included in the offer, and I’ve kindly signalled that to the landlady when we arrived. She’s been pretty rude and told us we should have reserved our room from their hotel website, where all info are correct, and we’d even saved some money. Removing the wrong info from booking, it’s asking too much, I guess 🧐
