Horio Village Rooms

Great location on Horio

Room a little tight on space

Very well situated in the authentic village of Horio away from the crowds around the harbour. A simple, family run hotel. The owner Talula is very nice and does everything to make your stay comfortable! Her husband Kosta picked us up at the harbour and brought us there to get our ferry at the end of our visit. There was a very good breakfast included. I recommend their hotel if you’re looking for an unpretentious place to stay in the un touristy area of Symi!

Our room faced a small restaurant so there was a little noise until about 11pm. It might be better to ask for a room on the other side if you go to bed early. Otherwise everything was very good!

Friendly hosts and good location in Chorio village Also transfer is a bonus 👍🏻

Occasional late night noise from motor bikes

Get what you pay for, good if you’re on a tight budget. One of the hosts picked us up from the port and drove us to the hotel. The room was very clean and the sheets were fresh, cleaners came while we were away, soap shower gel and towels were provided

Location was not excellent or easy as advertised, was up 350+ very steep steps, once we were out we did not want to to back until the evening because of the distance/stairs. Shower had no showerhead holder or curtain and took a long time to get warm. beds and pillows were very hard. Fridge was noisy and made it hard for us to sleep. Thin windows and doors and no safe. Breakfast was very limited. Only one usable plug socket in the room. Really not sure why the other reviews rated this so highly, it’s just a budget hotel.
