Horio Village Rooms

The hosts were fabulous!! Really go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible! The lifts to and from the port were very welcome! It was easy to find my way around and the steps although there were very many steps down to the port it didn’t take long to get down. I came on my own and always felt very safe! There are a few bars and restaurants just close to the property which was good! Also a supermarket a few steps away. I would recommend Horio Village Rooms! Breakfast also included was very nice! Amazing fresh bread and as much as you like!

Nothing really to dislike about Horio. Steps could be a bit much for some but there are taxis!

Lovely family run hotel. Tasoula and Costas are great hosts and made us feel so welcome. Met at the port by Costas and brought back when leaving. Perfect location, quiet area with lots of restaurants. A bus stop nearby which runs on the hour to Pedi and the harbour. A very enjoyable stay. Thank you Tasoula and Costas

We loved our stay here and would have liked to stay longer! Tasoula and Costas and other staff were very friendly and helpful. Costas came to pick us up from the harbour and drove us back, this was much appreciated. The location is lovely in the upper village of Symi, it's very calm. The room was lovely as well and has everything we needed, good A/C, fridge, kettle, comfortable bed. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Would definitely recommend and love to return here!

Get what you pay for, good if you’re on a tight budget. One of the hosts picked us up from the port and drove us to the hotel. The room was very clean and the sheets were fresh, cleaners came while we were away, soap shower gel and towels were provided

Location was not excellent or easy as advertised, was up 350+ very steep steps, once we were out we did not want to to back until the evening because of the distance/stairs. Shower had no showerhead holder or curtain and took a long time to get warm. beds and pillows were very hard. Fridge was noisy and made it hard for us to sleep. Thin windows and doors and no safe. Breakfast was very limited. Only one usable plug socket in the room. Really not sure why the other reviews rated this so highly, it’s just a budget hotel.
