I would definitely stay here again.

Location was great, right in the center of Oberstdorf, and a short walk from the train station and a short walk to the ice arena, where I was working. Grocery store just about a block away. Little kitchen was very functional, even included a dishwasher. Plenty of space inside the apartment to store luggage, clothing, etc. Host was very friendly and laidback.

I couldn't find anything on the reservation details that said that cash was required, so I didn't get foreign currency ahead of time. Upon arrival, discovered that cash was needed, and I didn't have any. Host was very kind about it and met me several days later to collect the payment. Wifi was slow, but I was told that was to be expected in Oberstdorf. At least it was consistent, the signal never dropped. Neither issue was a huge issue, and didn't affect the enjoyment of my stay.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung wohlgefühlt und haben unsere kurze Auszeit über Karneval genossen.

Die Lage ist hervorragend, zentraler geht nicht. Alles ist gut und schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Blick auf die Kirche und den zentralen Platz hat uns gefallen. Man war mittendrin und trotzdem war es absolut ruhig, abgesehen von der Kirche, die man recht früh läuten hört. Dafür gibt es keinen Straßenlärm und durch die Nähe zum Bahnhof und das gute Busnetz, braucht man eigentlich auch kein Auto.

Es gibt keinen Balkon.

Nervig in den Morgenstunden ist das laute Glockengeläute

Bis auf diesen Mangel alles ok.

Alles perfekt.

So jetzt zu einem negativen Punkt. Im ganzen Treppenhaus sowie in der ganzen Wohnung gibt es keine Rauchmelder. Somit hätte das alles nicht vermietet werden dürfen. Vielleicht sollte man darüber einmal nachdenken und auf jeden Fall nachrüsten. Brandschutz ist in Deutschland Pflicht seit 2023 bei vermieteten Objekten.

Modern und gemütlich in zentralster Lage

Sehr moderne, stilvolle und gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung. Super zentrale Lage. Für zwei Personen gute Größe. Rundum zufrieden:)

Es war wirklich alles super, als kleiner Tipp: in der Küche eine kleine Grundausstattung an Gewürzen sowie Öl (evtl. Essig). Es war nur Salz vorhanden und so wurde das Kochen zu Beginn etwas schwierig. Ausstattung der Küche ansonsten Top!
