Location
Rooms are very plain, although bathroom had heated floors. Breakfast variety not as good as other places we stayed in Norway. Dinner expensive so we ate somewhere else.

Beautiful, incredibly atmospheric old chalet hotel, all wooden but it’s been upgraded in the bathrooms, bedrooms, and restaurant to be full of modern comfort. The historic hotel is full of incredible old pieces, furniture, snow shoes etc, which make it fascinating. There’s a library focussing on the local area and mountains. Lom itself is definitely worth a visit, the Church dates to 1100. The food (we had breakfast and dinner) is to an extremely high standard, very innovative gourmet dishes and there was a good wine selection too. There is good parking. The staff are friendly and helpful, for example, I was provided with tea and milk as well as a kettle in the room at no extra cost.
Nothing, it was perfect. The Picture is my dessert last night: an oat base with rhubarb compote, a white chocolate shard, and horseradish icecream: very innovative and delicious! Highly recommend this hotel.
