The food was varied and always available. The hairdressing salon and the jewelers were very helpful. The reception staff were helpful. Alex at the relaxation pool was very good. However, he didn’t always give you a full glass of drink.
The hotel felt impersonal. It was too big for my liking.
The rooms in the 8000 were away from the main hotel and not like the pictures posted. However, the reception heard my concerns and were very amenable and very kindly changed my room as to be honest I would not have continued with my booking.
The drinks were served in small glasses and the drinks machines and bars were very spread out. Waiting staff were not always helpful to assist you and seemed to have their favourite guests. If you were not a favourite you were left to your own devices. The animation team did not make themselves known to guests. Again, it was their favourites. Very little signposting to make you feel included. The restaurant is a free for all to find a table and get a drink, unless you have a waiting person who is your friend.

initially we were given a small room on the ground floor which was below the quality we would have expected but the following day guest relations were very obliging and upgraded us to a room on the fourth floor which was beautiful and spacious with lovely views.
people hogging the idle sunbeds with parasols despite the policy of towels being removed after 2 hours.
