It was an easy hotel to access and Park.. and clean rooms it’s all in a standard style.
We had lunch in the bar and that was very good. I had the pie and mash and leeks and they were lovely..
It was nice to sit for breakfast in a window looking at some trees.
All comfortable.
The heating kept going off in our room, and then it would start blowing out cold air.. it happened twice so we get very cold as it’s February.
But a call to the Reception and they rectified it within 15 minutes, but I’m not sure if it’s the Hotel standard to keep turning the heating off.
The scrambled eggs at breakfast were horrible, they had been sitting there for what felt like a long time they were dried up and tasted like powdered eggs.
I didn’t like that. The Parking was charged at £9 for a night. As it’s a hotel in the middle of nowhere, it seemed really unfair to charge us such a lot of money for a one night.

Booked late on the evening at short notice
3 of us (family room) only 2 towels. No spare pillows or sheet for the sofa bed although there was a duvet. Checking out time 10.15 am ridiculously coincided with the breakfast time slot we were able to achieve. Have never before in much travel seen a checking out time so early (to what effect?)

Perfect location and very clean
Some more child friendly activities/ events needed
There was a cinema on which we was so excited for however we had to leave due to it been unmanaged kids were running round pulling out the wires so movie kept going of it needs to be managed by a member of staff

The theme park wasn't open and it was quiet which was good. Breakfast was good with a good variety of options available.
The parking costs, £9 per night to park your car at a hotel outside a city centre is wrong. This is too far away from anywhere to be able to park off site. If they are to charge for parking please add it to the room cost as that is more transparent pricing and people can choose.

Close to the event.
Breakfast was a fiasco. Having to order eggs in advance and arriving after you had finished.
Reception was rude and unhelpful, as we had to change rooms mid stay.

Parking was easy and handy. Check in was speedy. We had a function and dinner as part of that. This was the best function dinner I have ever had. They catered for 146 in our function room and they did an amazing job! Food was hot tasty and there were nicely cooked vegetables. Bed was comfy and room was spacious. Room air con was temperamental. Breakfast was good with some exceptions noted below.
Breakfast was good apart from the scrambled eggs. They were virtually white. You can ask for other eggs to order though.
Bread choice was poor.

Breakfast was very poor on the first morning, bacon was appalling did not recocognise it even being bacon..
2nd day changed from buffet to plated (due to lack of customers) did not want to order certain items due to poor quality the previous day. Decided to cancel breakfast for 3rd day because did not enjoy was told they would refund my breakfast cost for the 3rd day as gesture of goodwill, not sure where the goodwill was to refund me for something I was not going to eat due to poor quality
As above, poor quality, poor customer service.

Staff were wonderful, breakfast lovey, Christmas party great.
The paper invoice coming through early waking us up then having to go check that we hadn’t been double charged as we’d paid through booking.com in advance then the invoice showed a second manually input card charge for that date of stay. It was very confusing and kind of ruined the morning chill out.

Nothing it was lovely from the moment we arrived to the time we left.

Nice reception with friendly, helpful staff. The place was spotlessly clean with good lighting and comfortable furniture. The suite where the conference was held was also clean with nice furnishings and good facilities.
No double bed in the room, I had 3 single beds instead which seemed a bit pointless. The carpet was a bit on the worn side but it was clean. I cannot fault the cleanliness of the hotel, the grounds, or my room itself.

The staffS were excellent and friendly
The lighting on route to the hotel, it was exceptionally foggy and rainy that day so not neccessarily the hotels fault, but it was hard to see the path/road.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Nice bar . Nice cocktails . Very clean. We had a triple room , beds were so comfortable , very clean. So close to park. Quiet at night. Nice decor. Very reasonable price with breakfast. Very good stay. The amusement park is excellent but eating in the restaurants and food stalls is extortionate.
Sadly the dinner in the hotel restaurant is sadly letting the hotel down. The prices are not cheap so i expect nice food of a quality standard but sadly it was subpar. Basically on a level and standard of a cheap premier inn the only difference being the premier inn give free meals to the kids with a paying adult and a free drink to adults. I can sadly say the kids lasagne was just sludge so sorry , the adult pizza wasnt great , it was all sort of reheated poor quality food. Maybe it might be an idea to consider changing to a premier inn style dinner wuth free kids meal n free adult drink , expectations at least would be alot less but to charge such high prices for substandard food isnt good enough. Also sadly i think all the staff whether in reception , breakfast or dinner/bar area came across as very uninterested and apathetic as if they didnt want to be there . Except Mr Top n Hatt who was amazin to the kids in the charachter brekkie 10/10 and lily in the bar so friendly , welcoming n nice. So sad to give a bad review above as ive been a few years ago n was alot better.

I didn't actually stay as having stayed the night before on a separate booking I had to abandon 2nd night as the chemicals pumped through air conditioning as 'perfume'? made me so ill I was not able to risk staying a second night.
Being forced to inhale chemicals pumped through air con system in reception areas

Stayed at Drayton manor due to the RTTW event taking place the staff are friendly and the beds are comfortable and it suits our needs once a year
The prices for the rooms are reasonable. However, the price for the food is a bit high, and the price for the drinks is way too expensive, especially if you want a non alcoholic drink

Bar and food were very good
check in was bit disorganized
drink from previous guest still left outside door
8.0 / 10.0
Location for RTTW event is obviously ideal.
I asked for a room that limited my walking as I have some disabled. The reception assured me that my room 420 was next to the lift. It wanted and was about as far as you could get. It was OK, and I managed, but the lesson learned.
We booked 2 tables for 4 for dinner together Sat night, but on arrival, we were bluntly told they could seat us together, so we were split a long way apart. Dispite suitable tables left empty right beside us. The restaurant lead said he couldn't move us. We all felt that the main reason for selecting the hotel was to socialise together with friends. This was a big mistake and could have been sorted without too much effort.

The room was large and comfortable. The facilities were well rounded.
Some of the buttons were missing on the lift. Which is quite worrying.

Tired, room cleanliness could be better, window did not close, generally tired
8.0 / 10.0
The property was well managed and maintained, everything you needed was there and the children got to meet characters at breakfast, and plenty to choose from, clean and friendly staff, and only a short walk to the park itself
I think there could be more for little children to do as the park was really for bigger kids and not much for the smaller kids, I would of liked to see a soft play area maybe in the restaurant for the lively children, my son doesn’t like to sit around much and always wants to be on the go lol so maybe some more stuff for the littler kids to do would be good

The cleanliness of the room is perfect and comfortable. Have everything I need to make the perfect stay
Only downfall is there was only 1 towel in the bathroom ( that is me just trying to find a problem ) but regardless of that the stay was absolutely amazing
