Tourist trap, very bad quality and service

Sauna and wifi but that is available almost everywhere Good spot for skiing I guess but we didn’t want to go skiing so don’t care

No basics in the kitchen : no sugar, pepper, coffee, oil. No pan. No tabs for dishwasher. Not clean : when we arrived, hairs in the shower, hair band on the floor, used coffee filter still in machine, some kitchen tools weren’t clean, game box in the bedside table. No powder for washing machine but didn’t matter as washing machine didn’t work !!! 😂 The two bedside lamps in one of the rooms didn’t work. Fireplace starts to fall apart. At first sight, seemed to be a quite big cabin but it is so badly arranged that we missed space. No bedside table in one room and in the other, it wasn’t near the bed 😂What’s the point?? Cabin and furniture of bad quality, very very cheap. Think of it all like a total disrespect for visitors, a tourist trap. Holiday village without any charm or authenticity. Poor value for money. Clearly don’t recommend.

old school TV and poor channel selection. bedroom layout and bed itself is not comfortable. wiring in bedroom not good. WC layout is also very poor, locating tightly between two cabinets, no bidee. very noisy dish washer.

Location is really good. we could hike just out of the door. But the rooms are too old

Breakfast was good. Enough warm dishes. Fruit etc. Good variety although breakfast room gives a feeling if i was going to have a seat at a long table like University Cafeteria. Dinner was really great. Salmon soup in the menu is good for three people I am sure. Fresh Water Trout was made just great. Rein Deer filet was a star. Compliments to cook and service. Reception and Dinner personel were so friendly and helping. Had great time. Location is perfect. You can start different hiking routes right from the Hotel.

Rooms are too old. Bed room was extremely small and beds are narrow may be 70cm wide.

Nice location and staff but wouldn’t rent again

Good location for skiing. Quiet but it was off season. Nice staff. Spacious for 1-2 persons. Dish washer and washing machine a big plus, and the drying machine for clothes.

The place smelled like cigarette smoke or something. The sauna wasn’t inviting either though I normally take a sauna daily when on vacation. This one could have used a renevation like the whole place as such. The beds were too soft and pillows awful. Got a neck ache and slept badly. The kitchen wasn’t inviting for cooking. Only one of the stoves worked, the smaller one. No oven. Frying pan was fully scratched. There was hardly any room for hanging or storing clothes or other personal stuff.

Very comfortable mökki in a beautiful Nordic nature.

Really beautiful mökki next to the Salla ski resort. Nice hiking tracks and beautiful Nordic nature, berries and mushrooms. Mökki had everything you need.

Would have been nice if there were a bit laundry detergent to wash clothes because there were a washing machine. But it is not a big deal.

Basic cottage in a camping site

The location was ideal for us as we were only driving through from Salla to Kuusamo and needed a place to stay overnight and were travelling with our own car.

The cabin is quite old and worn out - a bit of a refresh wouldn't hurt. The bathroom has been renovated, but the rest of the cabin isn't. This being said, it had a smell of an old cabin, a bit of a moldy feeling to it. There was a laundry machine in the cabin, but unfortunately no detergents to use. It would have been nice to include some to the cabin.

Ski trip one person

Location was great, cottage was very clean and it was possible to park right in front of it. Good value for money.

The smallest cottage could use a little more light. I would've needed an oven rather than a laundry machine in the kitchenette. Didn't have any wine glasses.

Siisti ja edullinen 2 makuuhuoneen paritalo, jossa oli sauna ja takka. Viihdyimme mainiosti!

Asunnossa oli kaikki tarpeellinen. Takkapuita oli riittävästi. Makuuhuoneet olivat samassa tasossa, ei tarvinnut kiivetä portaita.

Huoneiston ohjekirjanen puuttui, oli kuulemma päivitettävänä. Olisimme tarvinneet sitä säätääksemme lämmitystä. Asunto oli hyvin kylmä saapuessamme. Sängyt olivat muuten hyvät, mutta todella kapeat (alle 80 cm).

Ruskareissu

Saunallinen melko pieni paritalon puolikas rauhallisella sijainnilla. Olohuoneessa takka. Keittotilassa sekä tiskikone että pesukone. Pesuhuoneessa kuivauskaappi.

Sallan keskustan ruokakauppoihin matkaa n.10 kilometriä, kylpylän yhteydessä vain pieni ylihintainen myymälä, jossa erittäin rajallinen valikoima yhtään mitään.

Mukava ja sujuva visiitti. Kiva ja toimiva yöpyminen viihtyisässä ja siistissä mökissä, pidempäänkin olisi viihtynyt!

Sijainti, toimivuus, siisteys, tilavuus. Kaikki tarvittava löytyi. Plussaa vielä suuresta siististä kylpyhuoneesta ja mökin hyvästä valaistuksesta.

Takan sytyttämiseen tulitikut olisi ollut kiva. Kehitysehdotus: uusikaa ruokapöydän tuoleihin huopatassut säännöllisesti. Nyt lattia naarmuunut ja tuoleissa olemattomat huopatarrat jaloissa.

Pahasti pettynyt

Varaus oli heillä merkitty väärin eikä tietoa lemmikistä oltu kirjattu. Mökki oli kaukana heidän palveluista ja oli kylmä (16 astetta) kun saavuimme. Mökki oli epäsiisti ja monessa paikassa oli näkyvää pölyä. Varustus oli osin heikko. Erittäin huono ensivierailu, vaikka heillä selvästi oli tilaa uudemmissa ja lähempänä palveluja sijaitsevissa mökeissä. Jäi kyllä ainoaksi kerraksi heillä.
