Hotel Zlatá Stoupa

Everything was excellent, staff was very nice, they gave me an iron upon request - a small one, but very efficient, and an ironing board. The room was rather small (take into account the competitive price), but cozy, very stylish (I liked the style) - natural wood furniture, paintings on the walls, more than two (!), not exactly Renoir, but they were real paintings, not just photocopy. That gave a nice touch. A spacious bathroom. A very good breakfast. Yes, breakfast is the same every day. But I don't mind. Watermelon was exceptional. There's a cafe nearby, just about 15 meters up the street and many reastaurants in the area - sometimes they are not obvious because they are often located in the inner yards. The location is really what matters - just about 7-10 minutes from the center, from the causeway, from restaurants, shops and sightseeings. About 20 minutes from the Old Monastery. And the bus to Prague goes on the street where the hotel is situated. The street itself is not very busy, and after 6 pm it is very quiet.

Excellent location and clean. Excellent breakfast, nice staff, close to bus line

No AC, one small fan, hot and sometimes stuffy Hard to find, even our taxi driver couldn’t find without great difficulty

Spacious room. Included a desk which was handy and plenty of storage space. Also a bath which was great. And the location was good - an easy walk to the attractions in Old Town. Good breakfast too.

There were no tea and coffee making facilities which might have been handy. Also, while the bath was great there was only a hand held shower which I wasn't that used to. However, these are small issues.

Hotel as well room was clean, all was as expected. Breakfast was also fine.

Unfortunately, wall was not good accusticaly isolated, we were waked up after midnight when neighbors returned.
