    Hotel is in the heart of the historic old town, and most attractive part. Excellent transport links at Louisa Platz Sud stop, trams every 10 minutes from the main station, and there is also a frequent bus to the Neues Palais. Entry to the park of SansSoucci is nearby. Very quiet. Most rooms overlook a quiet courtyard. On the ground floor, they even have private tables and chairs with neat hedges. Room fittings are of superior quality. The bathrooms are of a big enough size that can fit a bath, but they only have showers. There were firm pillows with the hotel logo on. I did not want to damage these, as I thought they are decorative and could not be washed. Thus I put them aside. I used the other pillows. which maybe only exist in Germany. They were so soft, you have to crumple them into a ball to get any support. They fall out easily from the pillow covers. This is the only negative I found in what is an excellent and peaceful hotel.

    Ideally located in the Potsdam Brandenburg Gate (Tor) area (note not to be confused with the main Brandenburg Gate in central Berlin). Quite a few stairs to navigate if you are in a room in the block away from Recepion. Our room had a fridge and a safe but no kettle (€5 for a pot of tea from the bar)
