Gartenappartement Ybbs

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und das Appartement hat unsere Erwartung übertroffen. Ein kleiner Garten mit Sitzgelegenheiten (auch Sonnenschirm etc) war dabei, ebenso trockene Unterstellplätze für die Fahrräder, ein PKW-Stellplatz etc. Obwohl wir eigenes Essen zur Unterkunft mitgebracht hatten, war für alles gesorgt. Kaffee, Kaffeetabs, eine Auswahl an Tees, selbstgemachte Marmeladen, selbstgemachter Sirup, Butter usw. Am Ende können wir nur sagen: ein ausgesprochen schönes Appartement (super Sauber), vollständigst Eingerichtet, bequeme Betten usw.

The hosts are hospitable and kind, and made me feel very welcome

This is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed in. We were greeted by the owners with homemade elderberry juice which was lovely after a tough cycle. The apartment was tastefully stocked beyond expectations: different types of coffee and teas; milk, butter, jams in the fridge as well as red and white wine and cold beer for purchase (at very reasonable prices). The toiletries were also really nice. The place is very well proportioned and furnished and in good weather, the garden could be enjoyed.

This is not a negative but something to bear in mind for cyclists: the apartment is at the top of a steep hill which we had to walk (it took us 5 minutes). Rest assured it will be worth it though!

The Gartenappartment in Ybbs an der Donau was absolutely clean, wonderfully equiped, kitchen equiped beyond all my expectation, with coffee powder, coffee capsules, olive oil, butter, milk, etc. The proprietor was very kind, she gave us very good recommandations concerning trips in surroundings.
