Stunning ancient building in fabulous surroundings.
Excellent food, served on lovely outside terrace looking up at the village of Fayence.
Beautiful pool set in large gardens.
(We were very lucky with the weather.)
Although the bed was comfortable, our room and bathroom were rather dated and old fashioned, and involved quite a lot of narrow spiral stairs to access it. We had a lovely little roof terrace, though.

The beautiful setting and that amazing restaurant . The staff were so helpful and polite - most impressed!
Couldn’t think of much. Rooms may be a bit tired but it’s an old property.

The property is in a beautiful location and it’s absolutely nothing like I have stayed in before. Very unique in the stunning sense.
Could do with more than 1 iron for the hotel ( I was there for a wedding) also the aircon is a little old so slow. But apart from the it was really good

Great location. Beautiful setting. Great swimming pool.
The air conditioning was not working properly. The place has seen better days, and could do with some TLC and renovations.
The staff was not very friendly and attentive.
The breakfast was poor.
Overall cleanliness not great.
Such a shame, as the place is really beautiful.

"A stunning location for us . We were visiting family, so this was ideal. The whole place was just charming and the staff were super friendly which means they are in good management hands. Great place."
