Poor value for money

Great location, pool and breakfast were lovely.

Not value for money at all. To have to pay additional for a travel cot when the room cost what it did was ridiculous. One 500ml bottle of water provided for 4 people. Attention to detail missing in all areas in relation to the cost of the hotel. The hotel is advertised as having a restaurant and this has apparently been closed since January. We would have chosen somewhere else had we have known. Staff seemed very non plus about having guests in and slightly put out.

We picked this hotel to rest and enjoy nice food in the evenings to be totally disappointed

The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. We didn't use the spa which looked beautiful, modern and clean and in sharp contrast to the hallways and stairs. The lounge was pleasant with pleasing decor but was empty of guests.

The Hotel and Booking.Com advertised their wonderful in house restaurant on their websites and on arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed due to lack of staff and was closed since last January, six months ago. We were given no clear notice of this at the time of booking and the hotel advertised their restaurant on the notice board outside the hotel by the public highway. The carpets on the main stairway and landings were disgusting and heavily stained in numerous places.

Beautiful hotel in very nice surroundings with no service

The hotel is well situated next to Villers-Sur-Mer. Perfect spot for break or a sea side holiday. The pool and spa area was very nice and we enjoyed the time there. Rooms were clean and tidy.

Service was not existed and rude. When asked for a light dinner, we were told that we should have booked a table in the restaurant. We wanted only a light dinner or a snack. In the bar area, we were not allowed to eat and staff became more and more rude to us. Eventually we order room service. A mistake! The plats were delivered with the microwave lids on the dish. Taste of food no were found..... In the morning at check out, I got the same rude treatment again. Hotel management should think about future personnel.

Far too expensive

The hotel was nice but very over priced by yourselves. Booking direct would be preferable in the future as they have far better deals.

The price - over priced accommodation- and for some reason booking.com made me pay up front instead of at the location.

It was OK.

it all felt a bit tired and in need of some tlc. Let me give you some examples: the door on the sauna not closing properly and the handle coming off; blown double glazed windows in the pool area; two of the four buttons on the hot tub didn't work and not all the vents worked properly. Its not a cheap stay, so you expect it to be good quality. Wasn't bad. Just not as good as i had hope for the money. staff were very helpful and pleasant.

b'fast was really good. Though you had to pay extra (!) evening meal was poor quality. Give that a miss. And they really need to sort the wifi. That was like going back 15 years.....

very nice spot, calm, quiet, good food and very friendly staff !

the staff was extremely friendly and helpfull totally no worries there there was a nice indoor pool with a jacuzzi and a spa erea also (didnt use that one) the room was very big and spacious ! although the toilet and bathroom were rather small...

it was very hot, and with no airco in the room, very hard to get the temperature down...also only one window you could open during the night... a surprising thing was when you went up to the first floor you had the ...fly window...that was really disgusting...big flies on the window, dead flies on the carpet...probably due to the heat, but for sure something which could be more addressed in the future

Disappointing

The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and the location was ideal

This hotel (particularly the bedrooms and hallways) needs a major makeover. It is very tired and in need of refurbishment. Also on our first morning there was no hot water. I also reported a faulty mixer tap in the shower which we were unable to change from bath to shower apart from a dribble but it was not fixed. I suspect it's a long term issue. We paid a fairly robust price for our stay which left us very disappointed. The hotel has plenty of potential but it needs a pretty thorough makeover

Super location, huge rooms with a view. We loved the park around the hotel, you can hear the birds. The man on the reception in the evening was adorabal and helpful. The breakfast was super.

The spa was really not clean especially the jacuzzi. When I reported it to the reception girl she told me we will add chlore, it needs to be washed on regular bases my parents have one. The internet was really bad, my husband tried to send a mail for 2h. We also felt like a wallet= check-in 16h (really late) we asked if we could check in at 14 or 15h the hotel asked us additional 40 euros.. We gave up

Beautiful rooms, very clean. Nice bar with plenty of space and an excellent restaurant.

The bathroom didn't have a proper shower, just a bathtub with a shower head.

Superb

The staff is amazing. We were there for my partner's bday and we wanted to have dinner at the restaurant of the hotel. Unfortunately the restaurant was complete but the chef accepted to add one more table and we ended up having an awesome dinner! I highly recommend this place!

Le professionnalisme du personnel, leur gentilesse. La restauration bon rapport qualité/prix L'accessibilité au spa sans frais supplémentaires. Le coté convivial du salon bar avec des jeux de société mise à disposition

la vétusté de l'établissement dans son état général , un rafraichissement serait nécessaire. Moisissures apparentes dans la chambre que l'on occupée avec un problème de chauffage durant la nuit nous empêchant de passer une bonne nuit ( chambre Talleyrand )

Le calme et les espaces verts. la superficie de la suite avec chambre vraiment indépendante et l'accès terrasse privative.

La cuisine n'a pas de couverts. la pression d'eau dans la douche est insuffisante, un filet d'eau, c'est désagréable. La chambre est vieillissante et mérite une rénovation en rapport avec le tarif pratiqué. Pas de restaurant car fermé depuis 1 an...
