Overpriced and outdated

The hotel is set in a nice location.

The facilities are tired — we had unreliable hot water, a noisy radiator we couldn’t use, and patchy internet throughout. Service was cold and unaccommodating, with even basic requests met with inflexibility.

Satisfactory.

The location was a good base for seeing Vence, St Paul de Vence and Tourettes sur loup. Dining area was attractive. Petangue area was a welcome extra facility.

Breakfast was varied and ample but way too expensive (7e more expensive than an equivalent hotel in Bealieu sur mer) Balcony of room was covered in debris (even before the winds) and had no view because the trees were so close. Pool area a little tired, although softened by attractive flower beds. Dining staff great, reception staff ok. For the price of the accommodation, the loungers and towels need to be a little smarter. Generally, just expected a little more for the price of the stay.

friendly, private resort with a fun aesthetic, and a quite good restaurant with a fantastic staff.

the property itself is gorgeous and the grounds and rooms are very well maintained. The staff are all exceedingly friendly. the restaurant is super high quality, and has great staff, Pascal is a gem of a human being and we’ll be coming back for sure just because of the level of hospitality he provided along with the other staff.

depending on what room you are in it can be a long walk involving many staircases from your vehicle down to the room so pack light.

Lots to like - food offer could be more flexible

Lots to like: fabulous location, beautifully maintained and great resources. Really charming staff. The treatments in the spa were fantastic.

The food offering is a little rigid. Formal a la carte dining the only option in the evening. A simple room service menu would have been welcome, particularly as the restaurant is closed Sunday night to Tuesday lunch. Late night loud music for a couple of nights was intrusive.

Great location, just important to remember restaurant is closed Sundays and Mondays but perfect opportunity to eat out in Vence. Beautiful restaurant terrace by the swimming pool.

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. A very relaxing place to swim, enjoy the sun and eat and drink well.

There was very little that needed to be improved. However, it would have been a nice touch to provide drinking water daily in the room, as other hotels of a similar standard do. Similarly, it would have been nice to have cool drinking water available by the pool.

La proximité de notre chambre et du restaurant qui peut être bruyant au petit déjeuner
