    A great location and experience with friendly staff and an excellent breakfast. The onsite restaurant is also wonderful with great food and a happy hour! Would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay close to Reykjavik while still getting a unique experience.

    Construction wasn't finished as planned for July 2026 staff were helpful but not the friendliest. A few confusing directions from staff but it all worked out. Breakfast was a great variety of staples and new Icelandic things to try. New wing of hotel was quiet. It should be a wonderful place once construction os finished .

    The place was cute but too far outside Reykjavik. Would be a great place to go for a good meal. The decor is very viking-ish. They did not have free coffee or water for guests at any time other than breakfast. To get a cup of coffee at any other time you were charged 600 kroner which is outrageous. Especially considering the coffee cups held about two sips of coffee.
