    I paid *** for this stay, and the experience was absolutely pathetic. This is nothing short of a rip-off! When I arrived at night, there were no working lights in my room except for the bathroom light. I went to reception to report the problem, but the receptionist didn't even bother to come to the room to check it. Instead, I was told that nothing could be done until the morning. What kind of ridiculous service is this? The staff showed absolutely no responsibility or concern for a paying guest. The next morning, I discovered that the water heater wasn't working either. We were forced to take cold showers in freezing weather because the hotel couldn't provide even the most basic facilities. I paid *** for a hotel room, not to sit in darkness and take freezing cold showers! For that amount of money, the bare minimum I expect is working lights, hot water, and staff who actually care about their guests. Apparently, even these basic standards are too much to expect from this hotel. The facilities were unacceptable, the staff's attitude was disgraceful, and the overall experience was a complete waste of money. Instead of offering a solution or an apology, the receptionist simply dismissed the problem. I would strongly advise anyone visiting Paris to avoid this hotel. Save your money and stay somewhere that respects its guests. Charging €150 for this level of service is absolutely ridiculous. Hotel Picardy should be ashamed of the way it treats its customers!
