A week in Oia

Accommodation was close to everything but just outside village which was nice and peaceful. Anna recommended places to eat and things to do when we weren't lying by the pool. Breakfast kept us full til dinner time. The room was really nice and cleaned regularly throughout the week.

Nice studio short walk from the centre of Oia

Good location a short walk from the main part of Oia. Warm welcome with lots of useful advice, nice breakfast, room cleaned daily. A nice size room with a comfortable bed.

I rent studios as I like to cook occasionally. A chopping board, a frying pan, a chopping knife would be useful. The pool was not used as the water was surprisingly cold.

Absolutely fantastic, comfortable & clean - we highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic stay! Tranquil & in a great location just on the edge of busy Oia. A quick 5 minute walk into Oia. The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the apartment room is extremely clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed lounging poolside & sitting out on our balcony overlooking the pool and views beyond. Anna is friendly, caring & helpful. She provided the best check in experience, ensuring we had all the information we needed to have the best experience while here. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Highly recommend & we would definitely stay again.

Chilled out and relaxing stay in total comfort.

Excellent location only 5 mins walk into Oia. Pool and sun bed facilities were right outside our room which was a priority for us. Room itself was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good. Great credit to Anna and the team.

My wife is not a cat lover but coped ok with breakfast. Apart from that can honestly say there was nothing we didn’t like about our stay.

A place to return

Great location with very supportive staff. I enjoyed the excellent breakfast. All very clean. Miss Ana is such a wonderful host. It's my second time in this place and mean to return. The advice is always sound and top notch value for money. It's one of the rare places where the 'If you are happy, I'm happy' is not paid lip service. They will do whatever is humanly possible to accommodate your needs. Warm without being intrusive. The hotel is quiet and fabulous for relaxing. A 6-minutes walk takes you to the famous Esplanade where you can enjoy the bustling activity and then retreat to a calm atmosphere.

A wonderful place. Peace and quiet. A swimming pool without fighting for sun loungers. Great location. A 15-minute walk to the center of Oia. 5 minutes to the bus stop. Very friendly staff. Helpful in every matter. Wonderful breakfasts. We will have a wonderful time.

All you need to enjoy your stay

Location, view, nice place and people Comfortable bed, and spacious room. Breakfast is a plus, If you didn’t visit santorini before. Don’t hesitate to stay at maria’ place. You can take the bus from and to fira( the bus stop literally 2 minutes walk from the property) Costs only 2 Euros. Walking distance to Oai( which is great, quite, and relaxing city) you can see all the blue dooms , the restaurants, and the view.

Relaxed, welcomed, embraced - don’t pass Maria’s Place by - it’s a secret gem.

We received a very warm welcome from Anna, who was attentive to our needs throughout the whole stay. The apartments are in a quieter area away from the hustle bustle of the main town, but within walking distance. We enjoyed beautiful traditional Greek food, very close to the apartment in a number of tavernas and restaurants. Our favourite was a just a stone’s throw away, with a great atmosphere and live music. You can what the famous sun set from the apartment.

We liked the fact that it was in a quiet location, away from the main tourist areas but not so far away that we couldn’t walk into Oia or take a bus to other parts of Santorini.

Perfect

The property’s host Anna was an absolute gem. Upon check in she took time to explain the Oia and the wider island, providing excellent recommendations. Breakfast was very good with lots of local dishes to try and it’s a small stroll to the main street. If you are looking to stay in Oia, I cannot recommend this property enough.

Quiet location in Oia in easy walking distance to centre, shops & restaurants. Character stay in comfortable rooms with terrace & beautiful ocean views. Able to watch famous sunset from room terrace. Some meal prep space in room. Excellent breakfast & fantastic host Anna.

Fantastic place to stay in Santorini - away from hustle and bustle but still enjoy

Everything Anna was a great hostess. Provided all necessary information and great advice. Booked our tour. One can watch Santorini's famous sunset from the porch of your room. Location is a few min. walk from the hustle and bustle of Santorini and it helps. Breakfast great. Room was very clean and comfortable

A very cozy place and a very helpful host.

Maria’s place is located about 10 mins walk to the Center of Oia. The apartment was cute and comfortable and breakfast was also very good. Anna, our host was very helpful and would like to give a shout out to her for all the information she provided not only where to visit in Santorini but also gave us plenty of tips to our next destination Peloponnese. We can’t thank her enough and I highly recommend this property

Marias place was beyond our expectations, very close walk to oía domes, the breakfast included is one of a 5 Star hotel, Views from the villas are amazing, the owner is really kind and always asking if everything is ok, all the staff is really nice, parking space was also good for us as well , and the check in process really Smooth.

We've done Santorini BUT if this hotel was somewhere else we would go again!

Was on edge of town (20mins walk to centre) so was quiet, was very clean. The owner, Anna was exceptionally knowledgeable about the island and could advise on trips or walks, what was open, as the season had not started yet. Anna offered us the use of our room until late in the day as our flight was not until 5pm (she allowed others the same courtesy)

Wi Fi intermittent (not hotels fault, other restaurants couldn't get card readers to work some times), maybe a change to hot dish in the morning, scrambled cheese egg (which was very good) 6 days out of 7.
