    This hotel is grand in it’s appearance and ideally situated for those travellers who need safe parking and is close to the ferry terminal.

    I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the ferry port. Given my circumstances it was the perfect choice. It's a repurposed Palace. My room was very spacious and comfortable. It had a safe. The bathroom had a tub and a shower. The breakfast was very good and substantial. The coffee was delicious. I would stay here without hesitation. Even if you're not using a ship to get to your next destination it's very easy to use the Metropolitan electric train and or the intra city electric tram to get where you need to go. There are a number of good to excellent restaurants and cafes nearby. Also an amusement park is very close. And there's a vibrant scene down along the riverfront if you want to grab a drink, listen

    The hotel is small in the original area and very rabbit warren navigation. Rooms are basic no rubbish bags in bins in either the room or the bathroom, no water complimentary, no covered areas outside. Parking (tight)€15/day. Restaurant closed. Advice is to Oder takeaway of the McDonalds ilk. Everything is a bit jaded and old.
