Mas des Herbes Blanches Hôtel & Spa – Relais & Châteaux

The staff and service was superb. The room was lovely. All great. Gorgeous outlook.

Just one time issue - for English speakers the TV stations are limited and there was no provision to Chromcast and watch Netflix etc. they did try their hardest to provide cables but they didn’t work. For such a beautiful resort the tvs should be updated.

Everything about this hotel is fabulous! It absolutely was one of(if not the most)amazing places I’ve ever stayed. It’s just beautiful, every little detail is thoughtful, and the staff was absolutely fantastic. It’s situated in the perfect location to explore Provence- with quick access to Gordes and Roussillon. The views are amazing, the pool is amazing, the rooms are amazing…I loved our stay here, it was truly special! Thank you as well to the awesome staff- every person we encountered at the resort was wonderful!

There’s nothing to not like about this property. If I had a recommendation for people staying there, it would be to know how to navigate the food situation. We didn’t realize until our final day that there were two restaurants on the property. There was a more casual restaurant that had easier food options and we would have stayed and eaten there had we known . We drove to different towns for dinner and also didn’t realize that there were even some options in Joucas where we could have eaten.

The hotel was stunning and we had a wonderful stay. The setting is stunning, close to some of the beautiful hilltop villages. The pool area was lovely and the Spa was exceptional. Breakfast was fantastic, and overall I found the hotel staff to be very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience with the restaurants (see below), which would stop me staying here again.

The restaurants were really disappointing. There is an informal restaurant (Le Bistrot du Mas) which is entirely outdoors, and then a formal dining restaurant (Le Table du Mas) We ate at both and I didn't feel either were up to the standard of the hotel itself. The food at the bistro was average, and the service quite slow. There is no option but to eat outside and unfortunately it did become quite cold in the evenings (we were there mid-June). Le Table du Mas poses as a fine dining restaurant, with prices to match. The food was good but not exceptional, and the service was not up to the standard I would expect in a restaurant like this. The room itself was a large hall-type room- think wedding venue-which unfortunately lacked atmosphere. Part of the reason we chose this hotel was to have restaurants onsite as we did not want to drive in the evening, so this was disappointing. The housekeeping was slightly lacking- Aside from the bed being made you wouldn't have noticed anyone had been in. We asked for cold milk to have with the coffee making facilities in our room as no milk was provided. On check out we realised we were charged for this, which feels a little stingy!
