Ok but disappointed

Easy access from the motorways.

This has happened the second time now. Lack of attention to detail when it comes to cleaning staff. First time, I hung out my hanger to say do not disturb, and my room was cleaned and my privacy completely ignored. The property has now been “refurbished”, and there was no hanger, but reception asked if we wanted cleaning service and we specifically said no, and yet again that was ignored. I like my privacy, and I do not need my room cleaning every day! Not only that, but the bathrooms have had minimal refurbishment, the Campanille in Ermont has done a much better job at doing a full refurb.

The employees were extremely helpful and sweet! it was located close to a macDonalds and other eating places.

It is not labeled very well and was hard to locate because of that even with GPS. The room was extremely small but clean and it was an outside entrance. No in room coffee. Just instant.

American-style roadside hotel with facilities poorly maintained

Bad organisation of rooms, they ended up giving me a room for handicapped people. There were bugs and butterflies in the room. Most of the room gets flooded when you take a bath.

Pillows have lived, not dirty but used. linen is scarce, bad material, overwashed or washed over and over again... Room temp. control: A/C off>>>23C - heat coming form surroundings

Would not return, the hygiene is abysmal and not something you would expect in a three star hotel.

Easy to find and access, bed was comfortable.

The hygiene and staff were unhelpful. Found cockroaches in the bedroom, squashed bugs on the walls, spider webs everywhere, a lot of dust. Very old building which desperately needs renovating. We contacted staff about the cockroaches which they moved us to another room but we found more crawling around. The staffs response was that it’s nature and expected.

Get a ground floor room!

Late bar, breakfast, parking, proximity to Auchan, McDonald's etc., room, cleanliness, bed, sockets both sides of bed, pretty, clean ground floor toilet,

Paper cups in room and breakfast room, no lift, not much breakfast left at 0830, tables not cleared (only 1 person for cheffing, clearing tables, replenishing and reception checkout!) Indifferent reception staff when we arrived who didn't seem to want to sell us a drink, put music or TV screen on at 2100. Definitely got the impression they didn't really want anyone in the lounge. Kept disappearing and had to be sought out by people wanting to check in from the back room, garden, etc. No call bell at reception. It was very different from last time, whereas there was a great welcome, music and ambience, and always someone attentive and multilingual. Stairs to floors 1&2 very difficult to negotiate bordering dangerous with bags. Handrail was loose in places. Definitely request a ground floor room disabled or not for this reason.

Nothing not to like!

Bar, staff, kettle, shower, aircon, breakfast, music in the bar, pretty ground floor toilets, bed, cleanliness, parking, proximity to Auchan cheaper fuel, smiley reception chap refilling my water bottle without query.

Not much to not like - would like more English tea and milk, usb and power on both sides of the bed would be great, drinking water to refill water bottles in reception would be great, bar prices expensive.

- Bed was surprisingly comfortable. - Room was a decent size

- Room was dirty, a squashed mosquito on the wall, spiders and webs on the walls. - Shower faucet was loose and was difficult to control the temperature. - Noisy neighbours, could here shouting, people hitting the walls.

Propably our last stay here

Fairly clean rooms, and friendly staff

There was a smell of cigarette in the room. We went to breakfast 1 hour before the end, to find almost everything finished. We could not find a clean table, no glasses, no cutlery, and most of the food was finished. There was just one person working, trying to bring stuff for breakfast, cleaning the tables and doing check-out for people leaving! Clearly it was not enough. I would have given an even lower score, but at least he was nice and trying his best.

I was there for only one night on a business trip and it's completely okay for this. The employees are very friendly, the rooms are okay and the breakfast in the morning was very nice. I recommend it :-)

the rooms need refurbishing, we’ve been coming here for years but you can’t have a stress free shower because the shower screens don’t block out the water, so the floor is always filled with water! it’s great we get coffee but there are no spoons to stir your drink? also, I booked two twin rooms but got one twin and one double room!

The position

The air conditioning hardly worked, it was dirty - the back of the bathroom door was covered in yellow brown splashes 🙁 , the toilet bowl was cracked, a lot of the wall coverings were damaged due to damp issues, mould on the bathroom silicon. a very tired and dirty room.

The person working at reception, can't talk English. It's very difficult to talk and get information about hotel. We talked with him our body language. It's better to appointment a receptionist, who can speak many language including English. English is an international language.
