Caley Hall

The Caley was everything and more. A large carpark, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were so helpful. The Caley is well situated for a short walk to old Hunstanton beach.

Lovely friendly but Professional vibe

Location is good for Old Hunstanton beach. Easy to find as on the main A road. Interesting old buildings, modern inside. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Food in the restaurant was good.

Our “inside” courtyard room overlooked the gravel car park and this was noisy apart from 11pm til 6am. The room wasn’t clean. Hard Floor was mopped, but was really dirty and needed a thorough clean ( bearing in mind they charge £12 extra per day for a dog, the dog friendly room didn’t seem to get any extra cleaning). Bathroom grout had some mould. Windows were dirty inside and out (when the sun shone on the windows you couldn’t see out) and had mould on some of the frame. We reported that the bathroom extractor fan wasn’t working, but this wasn’t fixed during our 3 day stay. This is a dog friendly hotel, but there is no grass anywhere onsite for the dogs to toilet. (Only the car park 😡). The nearest grass is across the main road and down a footpath (which is dark at night). 5 min walk. There is no internal access to the main hotel rooms which if raining or icy would not be nice.
