Charming relax

The place is so peaceful, you can relax surrounded by nature. Wonderful customization as you are asked to choose the pillow type, soap and body cream (I love jasmine Thai!). Breakfast offers a wide variety of fresh food.

Coffee at breakfast could be improved using the espresso machine (I saw it at the bar counter). Seaside was full of plastic trash, it's a pity. Maybe all resorts could clean the front part of the beach.

Exquisite resort

The property is remarkably good. Exquisite design, privileged location with direct access to the beach. The resort takes good care of yourself with daily activities, a warm staff, special touches in the villas to make your stay even better. The restaurant deserves a positive remark too: good variety, amazing breakfast with local and international options. The villas are great. The outdoors restrooms concept goes very well with the location. It didn’t bother our family? To the contrary, I enjoyed multiple baths gazing the Thai sky. I feel like coming back to this hotel often. I’m a world traveler, architect with high standards when it comes to places I stay, and this resort went right to my top 5.

It is important to remark that Khai beach is far removed from Phuket Old town. It’s a 50-70 minutes taxi ride to the town, depending on the traffic. If your intention is to visit the touristic part o Phuket, this might not be the perfect place for your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at SALA Phuket Mai Khao Beach Resort. The room was spacious and stylish, the pool was a real highlight, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Facilities throughout the resort were top-notch and well-maintained.

Relaxing stay, great staff, good food, amazing spa

Staff were warm and welcoming, great hospitality! The app was great with being able to communicate with staff and they were very responsive. Spa was really good, especially Khun Ice who really worked hard to get the kinks off my shoulders

Understand that it’s part of the hotel concept, but the outdoor bathroom was rather inconvenient, especially when it’s raining.

Exactly what you want if in need of rest and recovery.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Calm, peaceful, clean - restaurant and bar serve good snacks, coffee’s great, pools are small but do the job. Loved the pool villas - beach was incredible. Water so clear, sand so soft and barely a single person on the beach - felt like we hired out the whole beach to ourselves.

Extremely expensive if looking to add lunch or dinner to your breakfast. Worked out ten times better to just get lunch from the paid menu and go out for dinner after.

Honestly, everything. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout the stay. The property itself is stunning, from the beautiful scenery and well-maintained grounds to the peaceful atmosphere that made it feel like a true escape. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and tastefully decorated, offering both comfort and style. The amenities were top-notch, the food was great, and every detail seemed thoughtfully planned. It’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression, I’d come back in a heartbeat.

A wonderful four days in Paradise

The service from end-to-end was lovely, warm, and professional. The hotel premises in themselves are beautiful, well maintained, perfect to find serenity and get in the mood for your holidays. We have been upgraded to a villa with a pool upon arrival, which was wonderful in itself but also to experience - the room was spacious, wonderful views over the pool, an outdoor bathroom with a shower and a tub, nice decoration... I took great advantage of the spa - highly professional therapists, and a beautiful setting to relax also. The lunch menu is really good (special mention to the BBQ ribs). I did a Muay Thai and yoga class, which were great as well - finally, we did the James Bond Island tour as well, which was a great experience. They have a farm onsite as well which I didn't have the chance to visit.

Only thing - dinner service was slow to very slow - for some reason it is not as well organised as the lunch service, which makes it hard to enjoy your time if you're tired or have plans after. The quality of the dishes on the evening menu is also more heterogeneous than during lunch time. The breakfast buffet is good but could be of higher quality and more varied for an establishment of this standing.

Beautiful and Friendly Location!

I loved mainly everything about this resort. Everyone was amazing and I reccomend it for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy Thailand peacefully.

Yhe mosquitoes! Lol. Horrible there. Also, far from all the attractions, about an hour away. The beach on the property is closed, probably all the time.

Room design, no isolation from light and noise, back wall is sliding door from metal so all the hot air and noise come to the room. Bathroom is out side. Cost is high and from my side doesn’t fill of 5 star. I can’t stay for more than 1 night.

Fantastic, Clean, Memorable⁯

The Villa was clean, quiet, as shown in the pictures. The staff is cooperative and welcoming. The golden sands beach is charming and clean. The garden, swimming pools, relaxation zones, and all the facilities was excellent. There is a market and restaurant area around 20 minutes by walk from the hotel.

The breakfast should be improved. The check-in process should be improved, I waited around 90 minutes to receive my room. I wish if the hotel provide transportation service to/from the market and restaurant area like many other hotels in the same area. Many other hotels provide the service using small electrical cars.

Peaceful and relaxing.

Location! Whilst I booked this based on the superior 5* quality, we had to hire a car to do all the activities which are in the south of the island. That said, if you just want a hotel and not go anywhere then this is the place to stay.
