Bungalows Korana - Campsite Korana

It was still open when I arrived at reception around 20:00 which I was glad about, and the lady was very helpful. The cabin was like a typical one room cabin with two single beds, a heater, a table, with chairs and a closet. There is one window on the back side. The bathrooms is a short walk way. The breakfast buffet was very nice with cold cuts, cheese, fruits, rolls, eggs, meat, etc. It was about 10 minutes from Plitvice National Park.

No towels were provided which was an oversight on my part, not thinking it was a camping ground and I should bring towels for showering. Towels isnt necessarily something you pack on a transatlantic trip.

Off season, I enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of Camp Korana. The staff was very nice and helpful, thanks a lot! The restaurant was great, I had breakfast and dinner there several times. The best aspect was the location, just a short shuttle ride away from the park main entrance.

Traveling by bus I had to figure out the right stop by myself: it's called Catrinja, just ask your driver ahead.

We had a wonderful experience with the staff. They were friendly, and went above and beyond to help us. Also the food at the restaurant was great.

Nothing, it met my expectations.

We stayed in a bungalow which was not heated. The staff were nice and provided us with extra blankets but it was a cold night. Usually when I’m making a booking for spring I assume everything available would be heated but perhaps that’s my bad for not checking.
