Not the place to be in Liege.

Quiet location.

The restaurant was not accessible, I had to take room service (which was offered by the house). My room was very warm, even with heating switched off. No mini bar or water in the room. Onsite parking was expensive (20 Euro).

Tasteful and very professional, comfy

The hotel was absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated, the employees were extremely kind and professional, very clean and comfortable rooms, nice view, near water

The only tiny thing I would improve (which is very common so not a downside to this hotel only) is the quality of toilet paper

Good place to stay in Liège, but lacks charm and comfort.

Rooms are spacious and clean. The reception area and garden are quite nice.

Breakfast and diners are overpriced. Shared amenities such as gym and lounges are not charming at all. Shower head really unpleasant and air conditioning difficult to regulate, rooms were freezing.

My stay at Mercure Liège

Staff at reception was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice was large.Location at 3km of railway station. Nice Riverview

My room was located to the frontside and the tram passed by until 11.45pm and started again at 5.15am. Sleeping pillow was to tick and airco was making too much noice (even when off). 139 euro for this room was little value for money

Location was good

Really old room, stains all over, dirty curtains. Very noisy - when people ware closing doors or talked we could hear that. Breakfast was ok but not worth the price.

Parking. Bike storage. Desk service.. nearby old city buildings. Hotel is a Nice blend of old building and modern overhaul.

Poir room lighting but seems to be a Belgian trait. Quite a walk from more lively main town centre although it is near all the old city buildings .

Fit for purpose. I would stay here 100% again. Value for money was great.

Room was lovely but very small. It was a twin room and single beds very small also but quite comfortable. Fabulous hot shower. Breakfast delicious and staff were so lovely and helpful anytime of the day.

Issues with all of the lifts - we were on the 6th floor and there were 3 lifts that took ages to appear. 2 out of the 3 lifts also drooped suddenly while going downwards - very frightening. Didn't eat in the restaurant as the food was an extortionate price - €20 for a salad!!! Location felt very unsafe so we used taxis to go anywhere. Nowhere really to eat except a pizzeria down the road which was actually gorgeous and v reasonable.

There was very little option around the hotel to eat. Out of 3 lifts only one worked and that lift kept breaking down.

Nice hotel, comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious.

The parking was busy and spots were a bit tight, we took the last spot (arrived around 8pm). The bathtub was designed for taking baths over taking shower so it is not very comfortable.

Parking behind the building, well accessible. You can also park on the street in front of the hotel for free. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, there was a nice view overlooking the river, the bathroom was clean and modern. Large Fitness room with enough machines.the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated

Superb

This is my third stay already in this hotel and I'm happy to notice that the standards have stayed high. The same elegant rooms and public spaces, the overall cleanliness and the helpful personnel I have been used to from my previous stays here. The hotel restaurant is quite a fancy spot, reservation is needed in advance. The hotel also owns a small, but carefully manicured interior garden, a perfect shelter on a hot summer day.

Modern room but all sockets should work :)

The room was very clean, a nice bathroom with a modern shower, and enough towels for the whole family. There was a coffee machine with cups and tea. Very comfortable mattress and big bed. The duvet was big which was good cause none of us like to sleep without it. There was air conditioning which is standard I hope and lucky us cause it was a really hot weekend.

I was expecting more from a four star hotel. Sockets weren't working, the ones next to bed, which was uncomfortable to plug phones with morning alarms. Also the socket where the coffee machine was plugged in wasn't working. We needed to put a coffee machine on the floor next to the working socket. The shower floor was very slippery so we weren't able to shower our 2 year old daughter cause she fell during the shower. It would also be nice if we could use the netflix app on the TV. We have our own membership but we couldn't log in cause the app isn't working - but it's not the most important thing, obviously.

great location, the rest is below expected

the location was perfect

when I checked in with my friend, 2 females, we got changed to a different room without explanation or discussion, just another room number. We booked a room with 1 kingsize bed and when we entered the room we got 2 separate beds. When we asked this at the reception there was someone else that gave us the original room with one bed, I asked them why it was and the guy that helped us before turned around irritated to tell us the room wasn’t ready yet, if that was so he could have asked us if we wanted to wait, and the room was ready.. we felt discriminated by this action. Hereby, we paid for parking in advance, when we wanted to park the car there was no place. gladly one of the team members was so kind to move his car, but there is definitely not enough space for the hotel guests so be prepared for the fact that you may pay for parking but there will not be a place for your car. The hotel was under a big renovation, thereby the whole reception area and the outside place was open and there was a lot of noice, we didn’t heard any of this when we booked and discovered it when we arrived. Overal we didn’t felt welcome and the hotel was to big under construction to really enjoy it.

The room was contemporary, clean & nice. The bar area architecture was lovely.

The building works on going, difficult to find location. The staff in the bar are extremely slow to respond to any request. The drink prices were extortionate. Small measures also. Breakfast price extortionate.
