Es Moli Hotel

The hotel has nice grounds, a great pool and a tennis court. Also, rooms are comfy and spacious. It’s also in walking distance to Deia, where you have many nice restaurants. Staff was helpful in general.

Our kids were placed in the annex, which was a complete different building than the main building where we were staying. I asked well in advance (twice) if they could place our rooms near each other but that was not possible. Also, there’s a cove where you can swim (they can take you) but you have to make a reservation and it’s always full.

Some of the staff were incredibly rude, one member of staff was particularly hostile, and every request seemed to be treated as an inconvenience, including something as simple as ordering water at the bar. Water was not replenished during our stay, and the breakfast was average at best. The additional charge for Muleta, which appears to be a new implementation, is absolutely scandalous. Fortunately, we had reserved our beach spot prior to our stay and therefore were not charged, but many people I spoke to who had booked the hotel before this change were charged regardless. The cost ranges from €50 to €260 per person, which is an extraordinary additional expense, particularly for guests who had already booked their stay under different conditions. Overall, the service and additional costs were extremely disappointing.

Grounds well kept with beautiful gardens and pool. Close to deia and lovely private beach opened for guests.

Room service menu is basic and limited. It takes 10min to hike up to our room as it was situated in the highest villa and hill.

Stunning location, will have been a beautiful grand hotel in its day. Staff excellent and pool area very nice.

Stingy management as evidenced by: - One towel policy by pool - One complimentary bottle of water per person per stay - €4 bottles of water by the pool - No shampoo or other toiletries apart from hand soap screwed to the wall - Poor bedroom facilities - 20 year old tiny unplugged TV and a defunct old stereo painted into the wall. No crockery, kettle/coffee facilities. Bare cupboards and drawers. - The rooms were tired and clearly haven’t had money spent on them in years - The beach is not at all as advertised. We were charged €70 per person for old stained sunbeds in the shade, 5 flights of stairs from the sea. It would have been €260pp for the privilege of some sun. Separately, had to chase a rat from our balcony. Staff seemed well familiar with such complaints and depressed about all of the above. Very overpriced for what you get.
